#16 Dreissen 1/144 Basic Grade ZZ Gundam Series Model Kit

To start off this review, this is a VERY old kit (30 years old at the time of this review; produced in 1986). I will treat it as such, because it is such and old kit. I am giving it four stars because there was some flash on some of the parts, and a few parts were rough and did not fully form.Please note: YOU WILL NEED GLUE AND PAINT TO FULLY COMPLETE THIS KIT. I have attached pictures of the box art and the kit unpainted for reference.This kit uses polycaps, so that the joints are stiff and can hold a pose. There is limited articulation but you can pose it in a few ways, and you would be able to pose it in even more ways if you have an action base. This kit comes with 2 "boomerangs", a long beam halberd, a short beam halberd, and a beam spear. It also comes with a small sheet of water-slide decals for the mono-eye, some minor yellow details, and some other markings.This kit has some nice details and with some time, patience, and painting, it can really shine. For such an old kit, the proportions are pretty nice. I think it is a great kit for someone who puts a lot of time into their model kits and is not just looking for something to snap together.
