Dowco Guardian 26038-00 Integrated Motorcycle Cover Security Alarm System/Theft Deterrent

-One star docked for cheap quality plastic.-Did not test out due to returning them.-Decided to return as we bought different alarms.-Shipped insanely fast (if it's stocked in an Amazon Warehouse in North America.-DowCo tries to match it with a really expensive cover, no thanks.

Typical low budget alternate or addition to support for other choices in security.A similar item, I'm told by my daughter, can be purchased from other vendors and for cheaper. A personal alarm-like device. I bought this one because it fits perfectly into the pockets on the WEatherall Plus cover I bought from Dowco.I haven't used it as of yet, but plan to change it's mount and pull cord etc to hide it even more. I imagine it will perform the duty I will ask of it if ever required. That is to shock delay the perp long enough I can grab my piece or bat.

It feels flimsy for the expansive proce tags it bears. It is also hard to place correctly and makes putting and removing your cover a hassle everytime. I triggered the alarm in the dark one night and almost woke the whole neighbourhood searching for the pin. BUT it works oh damn it works. You cannot fathom how loud this thing is. No thief could keep working with this ringing about

Celui-ci fonctionne très bien, le premier reçu était défectueux mais ce fut très simple de le retourner et d’en obtenir un autre. C’est un très bon « upgrade » pour ma housse de moto.

It's simple and it should work. I just got it (one for each bike), and it is what I expected. My bikes stay inside, so hopefully I never have to see the system do what it's suppose to do during anormal attempted theft!
