I’m a big fan of the Gu product line and typically carry their s’more or salted caramel gels on long distance trail runs. I decided to give these a go and oh goodness. So yummy and reinvigorating! These bad boys help me push through my run on harder days (usually bribing myself “10 more minutes of running and you can have your stroopwafel” lol), but eating one right before I leave gives me a great boost to start, too. I ate one just to snack on last night. They taste delicious and have a nice consistency that isn’t too brittle or too spongy. It will harden if you run in the winter like I do but keeping it in an inner pocket should prevent it from getting too crisp. Gonna try some of the other flavors next! Gu, you are ahead of the game.

Tastes great and will become your new addiction.

I love to have one of these before a run! I like them better than the Honey Stinger version, they taste a bit better. Pretty expensive but they're quick and easy to eat!
