Taroko Design Tomoe River Regular Size Notebook, 2-Pack, 7mm Ruled, White

The paper produced by Tomoe River is fantastic for fountain pens. Be sure to use either a fine or a medium point nib. I really like this paper and will definitely re-buy this item before I use both of the ones I purchased.

As a self-diagnosed Tomoe River fanatic- it’s my go to choice for B5/A4 writing- it might come as a surprise I don’t bless these Taroko Design notebooks with 5 stars. It’s a consequence of the “official” Midori Traveler’s Notebook inserts just being so good.For $1 more (each) you DO get slightly sexier paper. Sometimes I feel like a change and I’ve bought these a few times. But the Midori paper has been fine for all my nibs and inks. Plus, I find the 6.5mm lines a better fit for my handwriting. These Taroko Design Tomoe River notebooks have 7mm ruling, which isn’t that much of a difference, but you do get less mileage overall. They do afford a sublime writing experience, however.
