Dash Mini Pizzelle Maker

I have had one for 5 years and bought another as a gift. This makes GREAT Pizzelle's and Cannoli's. All the recipes are included. Its VERY easy to use with great tasting results. The Cannoli filling recipe included is simple to make and tastes wonderful !!! This item is easy to clean, easy wipe it down, use a pastry brush for any hard to reach areas. I use mine a lot!

I am a frequent baker who distributes goodies to friends, shut-ins, family, church and of course at home. This is the cutest little thing. I was so excited about it that I ordered a set of three for my nephew's family as a gift. I made 3 plus dozen pizzelles in one evening. Yes, it will take you about 4 minutes a piece but I just worked it in to some other things I was doing that evening, but this little gadget will be a great vacation traveler. I love to make snacks when we are on vacation because snacks can cost a bundle and you can make many pizzelles, on so many flavors with just a few ingredients which you can pop in a case with you.

I love pizzelles, but I had never tried to make them before. This pizzelle maker is very accessible and easy for a beginner. The basic recipe is very straightforward, and the maker bakes the pizzelles easily, one at a time. Someone said it seemed a bit slow -- that's entirely possible, although I wouldn't know. My main comment would be that it seems to cook a little unevenly, but I might just need to practice. In addition, I found that to make truly crisp pizzelles, you really need a scant tablespoon of batter (or even less). For pizzelles you can use in other applications, such as cannoli, you should use the 1-2 tablespoons of batter recommended. I'm just thrilled there's a product that simplifies the need to use a pizzelle iron!! (If you haven't seen one, look on Amazon. I am NOT using that!! haha)

Being from Western Pennsylvania, pizelles were a common cookie of my youth, a lot harder to find in the south. And if you do, they are expensive and you can rarely find Anise. I figured I would give this a shot. Turns out this little guy is a real workhorse. The cookies taste great. Only complaints are they take about a minute and a half each and didn't get as crispy as I am used to. Excellent item overall.

I was very excited to see that my item was shipping earlier than expected! I opened it right away and made a big batch of cookies! Some of them I made into cannolis. This item was so easy to use, the pizzelle came out perfect and it was easy to wipe clean. It came with a few recipe suggestions, I plan on trying some of them.

Is the perfect size for my small kitchen and make a batch of pizelles in a jiff. So happy and best part is small , easy to clean . Love this line of small appliances that help keep my counter space clean and not clutter like normal size appliances would.

Makes a nice pizzell however it is always darker on one side than the other no matter where you start the batter. It runs over the edges but is easily cleaned. Not quite as nice as I thought it would be but OK for a small appliance.
