Dunu Trident DN-12 Headphones

Bought these very nearly two years ago (November 2014) and they've been my constant companion since. At home, walking, traveling, at work - I have music with me all the time. Since I first tried these they've been comfortable and sound great. Far better in both respects than the similarly priced Sennheisers they replaced. £20-£30 is the most I can hope to justify for something that isn't expected to last more than two or three years, and these are the best use of that budget. Comfortable with a reassuring weight and a rich, even sound.Eventually decided to review them because after almost 2 years of constant use, the right channel has suddenly gone very soft - still there, but barely. So it's time to replace them, and as soon as pay day comes around, I'll be buying the same again.For those of us who live in the real world and can't afford luxury headphones for every day use - these are the answer.

...they are not going to be like some of your £200+ headphones but hey!! These do sound better then a lot of headphones up to £200 and I actually prefer them for daily use!! And this is why.....I have iem, onear, overear you name it I've had a lot of headphones / earphones....but some of them of would not want to take them out of the house! Lol and some I would be scaried of losing or breaking!But £19!!!! I'm gonna buy like 5 pairs! These I don't care if I loss them, break them or even give them away!!! I also have two other pairs of Dunu models much more expensive but £19 just wooow!I have done what someone else did on here, removed the ear wax layer plus pull out the foam...then get a good seal and you got great vocal, treble and great bass for less then £20!!!My daily driver for work is just my iPhone 7 but wow I think this are one set of earphones that I can't really go past 3 quarters on volume without hurting my ears!!Again Dunu thank you for a great quality built earphone with great sound at what!!....£19!!! 😜

I've had the same pair of Dunu DN-12 Tridents now for nearly 5 years. Unbelievably, they haven't failed or crackled like any other pair of headphones would have in under 12 months. And I'm not even looking after them in any special way. They get scrunched up and shoved in a pocket, have been through the rain, several holidays and festivals, and probably stepped on a few times. They're built incredibly well.Sound quality, for the price and size, is excellent. Very good bass response for what they are and perfectly clear. Overall, extremely impressed and have recommended to anyone who asks me about them.

Phenomenal pair of in ear headphones! They've lasted me for years being thrown in my bag and carried around, crushed by books and laptops yet they still sound just as good as when I first got them. They've survived 6 expeditions lasting a week through Brecon Beacons and the Lake District, whilst raining, and they still work. For a sub-£20 pair of IEM's there's nothing better on the market!

Usually get Sennheiser CX300 but they always break after a year or two so thought i'd try these. Seriously impressive. Better than CX300. Not as good as my Grado SR80i (obviously) but for trains and plans and what not more than good enough. Wouldn't suit running so i will stick to old pair CX300 for running. These come with a LOT of buds which is always nice

Unbelievably good for a pair of earphones less than £20. I have a pair of Cambridge SE1's and they are not far behind those. The main issue I found is they don't stay in ones ears very well. I put some Comply Tips on instead of the rubber ones supplied. They now stay in beautifully. If you're looking for a cheap pair of IEMs then don't hesitate. 4.5 stars.

Quite disappointed. The sound quality is fine, but the weight and shape of them means they fit poorly in my ears, and fall out constantly, especially if walking around - and I have tried every style of rubber attachment that they come with to try and improve it. Not very comfortable and just a pain to fiddle with all the time. They do look lovely and the packaging is very nice.

Superb quality build but has a little resonating sound in certain notes and kept falling out my ears.

Good sound and build quality. Packaging quite nice for price range. Excellent bass but obviously not the best in-ear headphones out there for audio quality. Excellent for my listening.

These rather unassuming little earphones are absolutely brilliant. Why would you pay any more when these do such an amazing job?

Really good earphones. I've had and managed to break more expensive ones, due to their questionable design/ quality. These are well made and produce a really good sound.

Perfect quality, lots of goodies as well. Not suitable for people who have small ears as are all in-ear earphones even with the several different covers provided.

While they lasted the sound quality was excellent however one of the earphones stopped working after a week which is not good enough this however may have just been an issue with my set

Sounds amazing for the price, comfortable enough and all in all a pretty sweet deal. Metal body makes the plug feel premium

Really good for two weeks before one of the ears died. Very disappointing durability, but I guess there had to be a reason they were so cheap.
