Good Value
My lawn is larger than average with some areas of quite steep slopes. I had been using a petrol mower for many years but this summer it gave up. After doing some research I found a like for like replacement motor mower would cost me around £450-£500, well outside my budget. However I noticed the Flymo got several good reviews & priced at just over £100 I thought I would chance it.And am I glad I did.Flymo are known for being decent quality & this model is driven by a powerful electric motor. It tackles everything I ask it to, even when grass has got quite long.It glides over the steep slopes with ease, whereas my motor mower kicked up & slid off line making cutting these areas very hard work.Having a power cord is inconvenient for sure, but it comes with a very long lead attached & together with an extension lead I didn't find it a problem at all. Just be careful not to cut through the cable, it happens!!The only fault I have with this model is the grass box container needs a window so you can check how full it is. A minor quibble but one easily solved by having a transparent lid. Down to production costs I suppose.Assembly is very easy, couple of fittings to attach the handle & away you go. I've seen some reviews which criticize the need to fit spacers to the blade attachment to adjust the cutting height. This is a very easy process, I don't see that as a problem at all. Also the spanner required to do this comes supplied with the mower as well.Having a largish lawn I opted for the 36cm width model, but for those with smaller areas the 30 or 33cms width will be more than adequate for the job.I attached 2 of the 3 spacers provided to lower the blade. This gives a very good low cut, leaving a nice tidy finish to the lawn. All in all a very good quality product at a very good price.Lightweight & easy to use.I highly recommned it.

Good mower except for grass collection
The product is very easy to assemble and set the height of the cutting blade. The machine is easy to use it floats on air well. The motor is powerful if a little noisy.I bought it to replace a fly - mo which finally gave up the ghost after 40 years, yes forty years!I use it to cut the stalky grass in the lawn which my cylinder motor mower won’t touch, in this regard it does a perfect job. I have also tried it on some longer grass app 4” which it cut well. However, it does not pick up the grass cuttings well. I would say it picks up less than 50%. Not a problem for me but maybe something to consider if you want a pristine cutting free lawn. The ability to fold the handle to store was an important consideration so when out of use it can be hung on a wall.I would have given it 5 stars but for the grass collection issue. I recall I’m not the first to make this comment.

Great light weight and easy to glide mower
Great machine. Its actually very easy yo glide and easy to empty grass. I can't comment on its longevity as I've used it only once yet but it did a pretty impressive job. Highly recommended.

Flawed Design
Just arrived this afternoon so a fresh perspective on this mower. Our 13 year old 1300W Compact 300 had become a boneshaker, so noisy and the plastic handle broke yesterday, so time for a replacement. There is very little choice in the hover market at present with only a few models from Flymo and a few unheard of names. I was going to go for the Spear & Jackson, but my research discovered that they lend their name to Argos - say no more. That means they can attach that name to any of their own brand Chinese rubbish. So in the end went for the Flymo Easyglide 360. Despite some negative reviews, there was little option for me so took the plunge. These are my findings:ASSEMBLY:1) It took me 10 minutes working out how to lift the lid to remove the grass collection box which contained all the bits before I could start the assembly. It doesn't mention how to open it and I couldn't see a way to lift the lid without force. I managed to read some faint words saying "PRESS" on the lid, and so carefully prised in the plastic tongue to release it.2) Assembly is a bit of a faf, especially being extra careful with the cheap plastic parts, so as not to break any as mentioned in other reviews here.3) The assembly manual is incorrect, when coming to the handle assembly. They give you three bolt handles - 2 used on one side for the cable storage, of which one is the securing bolt to the lower frame . The other is a different looking one and according to the manual it says attach "if necessary"! Well it is necessary as otherwise you won't be able to bolt the other side of the frame to the lower frame. This wasted 25 minutes re-reading instructions and looking at the mower box to try and work out where it is supposed to go.4) After use, trying to work out how to fold it is also a nightmare, as if you want to fold the top handle down, you basically have to part undo the 2 main securing bolts to allow the frame to come apart enough that you can fold the frame over. The only issue now, is that if you've already would all the cable onto the clips, you have to take it all off again to undo the bolts. More concerning though, is that once you start to fold the frame over, the black mains cable now gets caught between the frame as the clips you used to hold it onto the frame makes it too tight. So these have to come off and you have to fold the frame whilst making sure to not pinch the cable between the frames! All this is a bit of a nightmare and I can't see me wanting to go through this malarky every time I want to use and put away the mower.USE:So as to use, we have quite bumpy uneven lawns (see picture) , and despite what some of the other reviewers have said, I found it very manoeuvrable - but coming from an underpowered 1300W model that is likely why it is easier for me to use. So a positive on that front. As for the cut, I put on all 3 spacers, as this is what I had on my previous mower and the cut was the same, so no worries there - was pleased with the cut.Now for the bad part - the grass collection - or lack of it. The part that is supposed to suck all the grass up at the rear is extremely poor - it blows more out than it picks up. When I went to put it away and lifted the grass collection bin out, there was hardly any grass in there! Worse, was all the grass had completely covered the motor grid, so I'm surprised there was any suction at all. Conclusion - I'm not really happy with it at all. It is too large, very difficult to store and the performance is woeful as far as grass collection is concerned. I had to get out the leaf blower / mulcher to suck up all the grass as it made a total mess and I should not have to do this. It took me twice as long to mow the lawn. I think this may be going back to Amazon....
