This is my second thermometer from this brand. If you take care of them they will last a long time. My last one got left too close to the grill and ended up melting. Got a different cheaper brand and ended up returning it to buy this one again. Fast temping. Compact. Trusted by chefs

Lavender Purple very pretty
Works just as good as the copper brand ! which is the brand to get if your looking for the best of the best, but if you want a different color then yellow, you have found the item your looking for.Down sides..I don’t care that it always reads “off” even when it is completely powered down.Machine washable..With any good cooking equipment items, I never put them in the dishwasher even if they say you can, since dishwashing does have an effect on life expectancy of your equipment. But I have washed this in water and dropped it in the dish water and it was fine.
