Foam Brush Paint and Varnish Set 10 Pc iQtools 73146

I used these brushes for Mod Podge. This was my first time with mod podge and it seemed to stay within the brush. I also used the brushes for acrylic paints which washed out with ease.

These are some really nice brushes especially for their price. I haven't used them yet but I believe they will hold up well and for a long time if taken care of properly. The foam is a good midway between soft and hard - I'd consider it firm. I provided photos of the packaging and product. I did a few stress tests to show quality of foam and plastic handle. The plastic handle has some bend but can be bent back. It's nice there is a little play so they don't just snap. I found each handle is designed specifically for that size brush and the plastic support inside the brush is not too short. It comes out pretty far from the base of the brush which is best and won't leave you with a flimsy piece of foam you can't do much with. The foam it's self is even pretty sturdy all the way to the tips. I imagine working aggressively enough pieces will begin to break off over time. All in all good brushes great price happy customer. The stress tests I did were not to the products breaking point, just where I felt it was flexing enough from it's normal position without causing permanent damage)Edit: found the base where the foam meets the handle has some pretty pointy edges. These could barely do the job I bought them for. I already have been through all 10 of them. I was using them to put stain on a dresser. The sponge part keeps coming off the handle. I would rather spend more money. I actually bought a 10 pack of something similar from a craft store for about $2 less and they have wooden handles and they feel like the sponge will not come off. I tug at them a little. Anyway I found something comparable or better for less money.

These are the finest cheap foam brushes I have found. The foam is soft and squishy, just like I expected, and the bright red handles are probably filled with Chinese lead taken out of recycled televisions. Highly recommended.
