Nice fan with a couple of flaws
Good: Clean, attractive, contemporary look. Reversible blades look good on both sides. Quiet; barely audible even in a quiet room. Well-balanced out of the box; a tiny wobble on high speed, nothing at all on low or medium. Relatively easy to install, with one caveat (see below). I thought the remote control frivolous, but it turns out that the lack of pull-chains is nice. (And hardwired switch-box controls are surprisingly hard to find and to make work well.) LED bulbs and remote batteries included. ETL listed and lifetime warranty.Bad: $65 premium for the pewter finish, no idea why. Makes this fan rather expensive for what you get. The wireless receiver / motor control sits in a slot in the mounting bracket, which is fine unless your electrical box is shallow and/or crowded (mine is both,) in which case the receiver box BARELY leaves room for the power connections. Extending the bracket another inch, or widening the canopy a little to let the receiver sit to one side of the bracket, would have made installation a breeze. As it was, I had to do some serious juggling to get everything to fit.Ugly: Once installed and powered up, every fan and light function can be controlled with the remote. Except one. For reasons which still mystify me, reversing the fan direction involves not only a physical switch on the fan, but a switch *behind the lamp cover*. Now, granted, most people reverse the fan only twice per year, if at all. But if you do, you get to go up a ladder and remove and replace a rather awkward and delicate glass globe to throw that switch. I'd put the over/under on the glass slipping out of my hands and taking a seven-foot plunge during one of these switchovers at about five years. I'm not an engineer, but I see no excuse at all for this. At least one of the eight remote control buttons is frivolous (and i could argue two more;) was it really *that* difficult to add that function to the remote? Would have simplified the lamp wiring quite a bit too.Bottom line: Aside from the above, I'm impressed with this fan. Looks good, performs well, looks like it'll continue to do so for a long time. But I'm not going to reverse the fan unless I absolutely have to. Five stars, but it was a very close thing; the high price and that hidden reverse switch very nearly cost it that fifth star.

You'll like this one, great remote features
Nice fan, looks good, operates well. The remote has lots of features including auto off timer, nature breeze, light that can be set to go on when you are away, and more.

Solid, quiet, and looks great!
Super quiet and rock solid! Easy to install and look great. Remote control is a bit strange and could be a bit more streamlined - but hey, it is a remote!

remote difficult to install
FAn looks great, no noise. we did not get instructions on installing antenae for remote control. The packet with remote control includes antenaee but doesn't tell you how to install. We normally have two wall switches, one for light, one for fan. Now we only need one which is fine because remote operates light and fan. The fact that the instructions were not there were very frustrating. We needed to go to utube and watch several "how to" videos before finding the correct one and installing remote. We already finished installing the fan so needed to take partially down and install antenae device. Otherwise so far works great.

Great fan, runs smooth, no noise and at a good price!
The media could not be loaded. Read a lot of other reviews about noise, wobble, insufficient airflow, low light bulbs etc. None of that was an issue with mine, works perfectly, tho I was rigorous ensuring snug screws in all connections. It did only have 2 bulbs, but LED and quite bright. The fan is quieter even than my old Hunter that it replaces, and at high speed is a wind tunnel!I did upgrade, and swapped out the included receiver with a small wifi receiver (less than $30) that I got at amazon. Much better than paying $250 and up for a smart fan. If you watch the attached video, be sure to have your sound on. Overall I feel this was an excellent purchase, and am so glad I didn't let some of the negative reviews guide my choice.

Light & Fan controlled by the Remote, light just needs power!
My mom has a 100 year old home and the ceiling fan she had was sounding horrid. I told her we need to replace her's so we got this and did just that. I was surprised to find out I didn't need to wire an on/off switch, as you wire a remote in the fan in the ceiling and it has the Wall/plate remote which controls the fan. So you can do the light or the fan individually from the remote, no necessary to even run specific wire runs for the fan and light. It just needs 1 wire run connection for ground/neutral/power, and no need to wire to a light switch. My moms house being old this was great, i disconnected her previous lightswitch wires, and just wire nutted the appropriate wires together and put them back in the wall plate, and screwed in the remote holder wall plate as the light switch.

No complaints and better than most
Compared to other no name fans I bought on Amazon, this is a great fan. It has a reputable name, was easy to install and is well balanced and quiet.
