Fiberglass Measuring Tape 50'/15M

Very first use the thing fell apart. The entire center winder fell out and on the ground. It took some time and I was able to put it back together but it's now extremely difficult to wind back up. Returned the item after using just this one time.

The tapes are okay. I use them in a science class to measure distances while doing lab activities. Already one of the wind up latches popped off. The tapes just don't seem like they will hold up over the long haul.
