Great gloves, but be aware that they certainly need breaking in
When I first got these gloves, I was quite worried because they are TIGHT and very uncomfortable. I mean, even getting your wrapped hands in them was very difficult. You couldn't do 2 rounds on the heavy bag without wishing you could finally take them off. Very tight, very uncomfortable. But don't despair. They take a few weeks and some patience and eventually they break in nicely. I've had them for some months now and they are great. They're comfortable, they hit hard with a nice pop on the heavy bag and they're very nicely made, great quality. I train 4 days a week and have them on for more than an hour at a time and have no problems whatsoever. Cleto Reyes definitely know how to make boxing gloves.

Seem small at first
I love these gloves! At first they may seem to fit a little too tight but once you break them in they will fit like a glove. (No pun intended) not only do they look good but they are comfortable, padding on them gives a nice pop when hitting the bag. May seem a little pricy compared to other brands but you definitely get what you pay for with cleto reyes! Value for money is worth it.

Solid glove with a nice pop when you hit the bag.
This is a solid glove for anyone who has been boxing for a couple of years and wants to invest in the longer term.I’ve worn Title, Ringside, Everlast and Venom and these are definitely my favorite.I’ll say this: if you’re looking for budget-friendly, Title can offer some great gloves for $50-60.If you’ve been doing it for a few years and want to invest more, Reyes is a great way to go.They are very snug. I got the 12oz because I wanted something tight for bagwork. Compared to my 14oz gloves, (those are softer and I use them for sparring. They are Title Matrix) these feel ultra-light, even though I’ve heard of folks saying they run over weight. It’s possible the weight distribution is making it feel lighter. My hands feel great even after multiple rounds. But be aware that these aren’t considered soft gloves. They are pretty solid and absorb impact differently from my more “pillowy” gloves. But I really like the feel.I used to think there was no reason to pay more than 60 bucks for gloves. But, more likely than not, Cleto Reyes will be my glove of choice moving forward.

LEGIT AND AUTHENTIC
Guys, I've been around combat sports for many years, and let me say these are the best quality gloves I've ever bought. There really is something special about the Cleto Reyes Leather, it smells and feels so good. I will say that these gloves do not come broken in, so do not expect a perfect fit when first unboxing. You really need to put some work into them on the mitts and bag. After, they will feel so snug and snappy. I chose 14oz because I wanted something that was an all purpose glove. Good for mitts and bag work, and the occasional light spar. I'd say if you're on the fence, these gloves are totally worth it, and I highly recommend!

Not a beginners glove
OK, so I haven't had these for long yet, but there are definitely differences from my last pair of gloves. These gloves are a tight squeeze overall, and I don't have large hands. I'm using the 14oz gloves for bag work. What I've noticed is that these gloves are less forgiving for throwing with incorrect form since they don't really have that extra cushion you'd expect from say 16 oz GEL gloves. There's a reason why they call them puncher's gloves. If you're prone to wrist injuries these aren't the gloves for you. However, they feel better as far as feeling when hitting the bag. It feels like I have much better accuracy with these gloves.I have a hard time fitting my hand into the glove with longer/thicker wraps. I like the way they've designed the bar on the inside and how it reinforces around the thumb. That said, some may have a hard time even with their thumbs. I have short thumbs, my gf even makes fun of me for it. My thumbs definitely are snug in these as well.Construction is second to none in my opinion. I can already tell these will last a long time. It took a few workouts to break in the glove to be able to open my hands to practice parrying/defense. Just something to keep in mind. I'm not sure I would buy these again based on how they overall fit though. It could be that I'm still getting used to these gloves or still breaking them in. Overall, great glove but I don't think it's for everyone.
