Documents of any kind can be copied to this disk. You can make changes to the document if the other pc has word processing software that works with that file (document) type.

Why does the description say " 25 high-grade rewritable dvd+rw disc ..." and elsewhere they are described as cds not dvds?

The description seems to imply that these discs are DVD capable, but the product and packaging make no mention of DVD capability. I've only used them for data storage and have no experience with DVD recording.
