Q: What are the dimensions of the scoopy part, not the handle, just how wide is the mouth of he cup and how high and deep.

Scoop part: 7 inches length 4 inches wide 2 inch depth

Q: Would this work for lump charcoal?

Lumps of coal? For the grill? I don’t see why not ? I have one that i use for scooping ice out of the freezer .

Q: What's the difference between this and the 6400MD version?

The 6400MD is a metal detectable product. It has metal in the plastic so it can be picked up with a metal detector. The 64003 does not.

Q: Is the scoop BPA-free?

It’s made of polypropylene and from what I can gather, is BPA free
