Monteverde Invincia Rose Gold Fountain Pen - F

I really like this pen, it's beautiful to look at and a joy to write with. The pen came with two ink cartridges (one blue, one black) and they both run well, no skips, the converter works well also with Waterman bottled ink.

I love the pen, but if I don't use it for a few days, it dries up. I have several fountain pens, and this is the only brand I have had trouble with. I have a second just like this (same brand) and the tip dries. I have to open it and prime it a bit by twisting the ink filler.

A very elegant and great writing pen. I ordered the fine nib which are great from Monteverde, they a slight bit of spring and write very reliably. Unfortunately I was delivered a medium. I overlooked this detail and already had the pen inked and writing before noting. It is a heftier pen, with a cap that makes it a bit top heavy when posted, that is something I actually like. It is stunning in person. The carbon fiber has a lit of depth and the rose gold is a true rose gold. Great pen!

I love the look and feel of this pen, the problem is that it is not a reliable performer over time. It dries out quickly, and then it is a bear to get it working again. You can never be confident it is going to work, so I can never use it as a "go-to" pen...always need to have a back-up plan. Also the rose gold finish near where you would hold it while writing has worn off leaving a black color underneath.This could easily be my favorite pen if the quality was better.

I love the pen but I only give it 4 stars because the nib dries very quickly and then it is hassel to make it work again.

My pen dried out often as the others stated. A little internet searching said that some government regulation required a vent in the cap and this could be fixed by plugging the vent located under where the clip attaches to the cap with candle wax. Once you drop a drip of wax into the area, you can ram the wax home. Verify your seal by filling the cap with water.If you still have problems with the nib drying, use the piston cartridge instead of the pre filled ones. It is much easier to re start with a simple twist of the screw.Writing quality is superior.

Pen came scuffed and there was no warranty card in the case of the pen.Selling as a fine nib and it's more of a medium. Pen structure is over all nice.Cannot post the pen properly due to inside liner having been pushed to far in, also a part of the damaged goods I received.
