Worked great for a year, no rust, dishwasher safe, then came out of the dishwasher with the wedge section all mangled. Can't really take this part off, so I'll have to replace it.

This is a heavy duty egg slicer! I haven’t used it yet; but I can tell it’s worth every penny and more. I have spent more money replacing egg slicers over the years than I have any other kitchen item. This one is along the lines of a commercial grade kitchen utensil and I am very happy that it is sturdy, not delicate, and I anticipate it will last a long time.

I have had this item before. During a move from California to Texas it was lost. I like egg salad so I needed another. Washed and used it the first day received. The lost one was going on ten years use. I hope this one lasts as long.

I was happy when it came and I couldn't wait to use it because I like to make egg salad sandwiches. I used it and it was okay but when I tried to clean it....I worked for fifteen minutes trying to get the little bits of egg to loosen up. Two days later I picked it up and still bits that wouldn't come out. I give up. Maybe a brush might help.

This is the best slicer going. I can't imagine ever needing another one. It's heavy, well made and is designed to slice soft veggies as well as eggs though I haven't tried it on veggies yet. You'll be glad you got it,.

Lasted about four months. The wires snapped with regular use. Too lightweight.
