A great way to learn to juggle. Start off with scarfs!
They could be a little smaller. The ones that came with the juggling set were smaller. I'm trying to teach my grandson who is 8.

Okay scarves, but not easy to juggle
I purchased this set of scarves with the intention of using them to add to my small and growing collection of juggling props. I am not a very accomplished juggler, but I became proficient at a regular three ball cascade years ago and I wanted to try scarves because I assumed that they would float slowly down, like juggling in slow motion, which would allow me to practice some new patterns more easily.Honestly, they do float down at a slower pace than any other item in my jugging kit. The problem comes when you try to throw them back up. They only move up as high as you move your hand because they have virtually no weight (scarf, duh). This creates a rather awkward juggling motion that looks like you are doing "the monkey" dance fad from the 60s. The wide swinging motions to maintain a juggling pattern were disconcerting for me. Maybe others will disagree. On the plus side, the scarves are big, bright and seem durable enough. One of mine has already unraveled a bit at one edge, but two are still fine after some use. My young daughter does love them, and she enjoys playing peek-a-boo with them (especially since they are somewhat transparent).I know I gave a very mediocre rating for the product, which reflects my honest opinion of the quality of the item and its use for juggling (I found it when searching "juggling sets"), but it may receive higher ratings if it were sold simply as a motion toy for children.

Not the best
I remember using juggling scarves as a kid in PE to learn how to juggle. The fabric was very soft and draped very easily. These scarves are somewhat stiff and do not drape. You can't fold them...the fabric wants to do it's own thing! When you throw to juggle, they almost flatten out. Find something else!

Great for three year old!
We bought this for our three-year-old son after he saw the Flying Karamazov Brothers on Mr. Rogers Neighborhood (on the Amazon Prime Streaming Service no less). One of the members of the troupe gave Mr. Rogers a juggling lesson, beginning with scarves. My son uses these to "juggle," but they're also just a great toy to satisfy his desire to toss things in the air. We brought them with us to the in-laws for Thanksgiving, and he had a great time tossing these scarves in air rather than Nana's framed photos and other curios. ;)The scarves come in three colors as shown and are quite durable. They can easily double for costumes/dress-up play as well.

bought for infant - he loves these!!
I can't speak to the juggling durability, but I purchased these for my baby and he absolutely loves these. They were used in a music class and I had to have. This seemed like the best deal online. I think that the quality is just okay. The colors are a little different than pictured. the orange is more orange and the yellow is more neon yellow. Overall, I am super happy with these.

Handy scarves
Good scarves for someone who will be teaching kids to juggle. They float slowly and don't stain or tear easily. Although jugglers quickly move beyond the point of juggling scarves, they are a perfect tool for illustrating the motion needed to juggle, and little kids are fascinated by them. So they are a must for any circus or movement program that works with children.
