Very nice speakers and they were super easy to install. It’s a really good replacement for the oem speakers in pretty much any older car and some newer ones. I only bought two for my front doors and the overall bass level has improved significantly so I can’t wait to get some for the rear doors.

First, they don't come with wires. That doesn't bother me because I would have tossed them anyway. I got some Red Wolf adapters that plugged right into the speaker and the wiring harness.I used these to replace the stock speakers in my 2014 F150. At first I found them to be really tinny sounding with a weak low end, however after a couple days of playing they must have broken in because the bass response is much better. I have a sub and the midbass was always kind of so-so with the factory speakers. Now with a tweak to my EQ the Skar speakers flow perfectly into the sub's range and the midbass weakness is gone. The sub really picks up below 80-100hz and from around 80-240 or so the stock system just didn't have it. It worked, kind of, but it wasn't great. Now it sounds like a totally different system. I've actually had to turn the gain on the sub down yet is still rattles the mirrors. The sub is just a single 8 in a ported enclosure tuned for 33hz and an F3 of around 30. I'm using a 200w amp for the sub. No amp on the door speakers though, just the factory Sync radio.I'm sure there's better speakers out there but not for less than $50 a pair.

wow, what a surprise , put these in my 05 dodge ram , the sound is superb , good bass response without a amp, the price is great, function is flawless for my needs , give them a try , I dont think you will be disappointed

Just got these to replace the rotted out factory speakers in my daughter’s 08 Honda CRV. I am blown away with the sound quality and the bass improvement over the stock speakers. It sounds like I’m running a separately amplified system now. Fitment was straight forward using a 3/4” Honda specific spacer and wire harness set I bought on Amazon at the same time. It’s the first time I’ve used Skar and I’m really impressed!

These sound good and the price is right. BUT the speakers are NOT 5.25” they are 5” circular frame.. the distance between the mounting holes diagonally is 5.25” measured diagonally. Measure your doors carefully or you will be purchasing and modding adapters. Not fun.
