DKN Rubber Hex Dumbbell

Having used this type of dumbbell in my local Leisure Centre I wanted to find the same item for private use with my private fitness group and the ones received were exactly right for use in my Body Conditioning class!The design of the rubber heads provide stability of the item whilst either being transported or within use! There is a mild rubber perfume but is not a problem. Delivery from the supplier was very swift and well within the time given. They are very good value and excellent product!

I have 5 pairs of dumbbells from a different supplier, that are a different make to these, while the other dumbbells are the correct weight that is advertised, these seem better made and better balanced,even though one is 22.4kg which is acceptable,and the other one is 22.8kg which is closer to 23kg than 22.5kg which bothers me a bit, I am tempted to buy the 25.kg dumbbells as well.

These are very comfortable to use and the hexagonal shape prevents them moving when not in use. The rubber cover gives them a softer appearance and makes it less likely they clang together or damage other surfaces.

Very solid and well made, good weight for chucking around but giving your arms a decent work out. There’s no excuse for not using them daily, and if you do you’ll probably see more definition in your arms within a month or so.I’d no issues with smell, just smell like new gym equipment, and it quickly goes away.Every man should own a pair.

The rubber smell that they came with was annoying when I first got them but it disappeared after a while. I suggest wiping them down soon as you get them as their is an oil based substance on them and you don’t want to get that on your clothes or on a carpet.But I do love them and although it did seem like a lot of money, especially compared to some other dumbbells, they were well worth every penny.I use them regularly and the hex shape stops them from rolling around.I bought the 10, 15, and the 20.

I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't smelling of rubber too much for a few months. Nevertheless, solid construction, if I was to buy more weights these are the weights I would chose, no question about it.

I decided to buy my own set of weights after working with my trainer for a year. These are the same as she has, so I knew what I was getting. When looking for them I noticed that other sellers weren't clear as to whether you were buying a single weight or a pair. This wasn't the case with Sweatband. Very easy to buy, arrived in good time and all brand new. Only criticism is the smell. They are so new they have quite a strong odour from the rubber material. But otherwise excellent!

I thought I would have usual problems - handle too small, proor materials used, and such, but it turned out quite good. I think the only downside is rubbery smell of the weights, but I don't really care about that.
