The food envelope not properly sealed, lead to a leak, spoiling the egg envelope. No sea monkeys for me this time

We had a lot of fun with these. We got 3 generations out of the sea monkeys. They stopped reproducing after the 3rd generation. We kept the water clean and filled to the line with a bottle of water that sat next to the sea monkeys so it was the same temp and made sure to not let the water get too cold when sitting in the window. We have just bought another another batch to have the fun all over again!

Second time lucky had to use a heat pad and bottled water but it was a success.

I started my kit July 25 2023, it’s now Jan 22 2024, two of them are still alive as they all got quite “friendly” if you look after them well they will hatch

I have brought a few now - thinking this might be my fault or dud eggs - but 3rd time lucky- killing them as is too cold - but will try again - now brought a little tank heater and air filter so going to try again.

As a little experiment for my kids, I bought this item and aqua dragons to see which tank would grow faster. I've had SeaMonkeys before and it really was like instant life as advertised and I was confident that I could grow SeaMonkeys as I have before. Literally nothing grew! Myself and the kids were so disappointed! My aqua dragons are alive and growing while the SeaMonkey tank remains empty. I really recommend if you want to raise brine shrimp as pets get the aqua dragons kit. It even comes with a led light to view your pets. Unfortunately, I didn't heed the reviews for this product and set myself up for disappointment.
