This is a fabulous product for whitening. The only downside is the viscosity of the paste, it is far too runny.Be extremely careful spreading this on your toothbrush and whilst brushing. I use an electric brush and it flies everywhere and stains badly.In the small print on the tube and it really is small print, it says, “Do not swallow”. This really should be in much larger print. After just a small amount swallowed by accident, My throat was raw for 24 hours. Beware!

This toothpaste is really not worth the money. All it does is dye your gums pink, making your teeth appear a bit whiter. I could do the same thing with a tube of lipstick. Slap on some bright lipstick, and your teeth will appear whiter. It's really no more than a regular toothpaste that contains dye.

I have used Pearl Drops toothpaste for many years and have always been more than happy with the results it has achieved. However, the toothpaste I use now (PEARL DROPS Strong Polished White) is a totally different consistency to that of a couple of years ago. The original paste had a much firmer consistency resulting in a clean, fresh and beautifully polished finish. The toothpaste that is now available is much softer resulting in it dissolving to a liquid when you brush your teeth. I use an electric tooth brush with the current toothpaste and the process of brushing my teeth has become extremely unpleasant - the toothpaste spills out of my mouth as I try to brush and by the end of the two minute brushing programme there is virtually nothing left of the paste I started with, which is either dripping down my chin or already in the wash basin!PLEASE, PLEASE can you go back to the original formula that was used. It was a little more expensive to buy but it did the job without any of the unpleasant mess!JANET B.

This toothpaste is really good for whitening teeth without being too abrasive. Definitely notice a significant difference in teeth whiteness over normal toothpastes. This one also doesn't have the salty taste of some of the other Pearl Drops toothpastes that use bicarb as a whitening agent. Only downside is the bright pink colour does stain clothes/towels, so be careful with it.

Have been using Pearl Drops for years now, as it doesn't blow my head off like a lot of toothpastes. Thought I'd try this, as it claims to make teeth look instantly whiter due to its 'Pro Shine Complex', as well as being reasonably priced. Like the fact that it's now in a squeezable tube, making it easier to dispense, rather than the usual upside down hard container. Regarding its effectiveness, it cleans my teeth (as it should) but not sure it makes them look them any whiter. What it DOES do, is stain my tongue bright pink and make me look like I've been sucking on a strawberry lollipop (even *after* I've tried scrubbing it off). NOT a good look for a grown Woman!
