Works as promised BUT install the drivers
If you are cool with updating your own drivers, you have found the PERFECT dock for PC and Mac.Everything this dock says it can do, it does. 4K at 60hz. Up to 4 mirrored or extended screens, if you include the laptop monitor itself. 10gb per USB port. Audio, speakers and mic. And it runs smoothly.I have two computers. A Lenovo Thinkpad (PC) laptop and a MacBook. The PC didn’t require a driver. It was genuinely plug-and-play. But the MacBook did require the driver. I plugged it in and it didn’t work. (Actually, let me specify that. The other aspects of the dock worked, like the audio and USB ports. Just the screens didn’t work.)The problem isn’t the dock. The problem is macOS. Mac is notorious for having compatibility issues. In order to have a dock that works well with both PC and Mac, you have to rely on a third-party driver (DisplayLink) to make it run. That being said, here is why I’m giving the dock 5 stars: Wavlink tells you upfront you will probably need to install a driver. The manual for the dock specifically tells you to install the driver AND tells you where to find it. The website it takes you to is very self-explanatory and the install is easy. It took me less than five minutes to find and install the driver. As a further note, when I upgraded to macOS Sonoma, I did have to download and install a new driver also provided on their website. AGAIN, THIS IS NOT WAVLINK’S FAULT. THIS IS APPLE’S FAULT. THIS DOCK IS BUILT ON DISPLAYLINK, A DRIVER WHICH IS NOT PROPRIETARY TO MACBOOKS. MAC WILL NOT AUTOMATICALLY UPGRADE THIS DRIVER FOR YOU. THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE SIGNING UP FOR.In conclusion, I love this dock. It does everything it says it can do and I’m not bothered by updating my own drivers.***UPDATE - 18 months later***Still works exactly the same as the day I bought it. Have not had to update the driver in over a year. Still 5 stars. Going to buy a second one for my office at work.

So far so good!
It came well packed. I have been using it for a week, and so far it does everything it is supposed to do. It is connected to Dell Latitude 7440. I connected two 4K monitors to the two HDMI ports and they work very well. All other usb ports work as well. It came with biffy 100 Wt adapter, which is connected and charges my laptop without problems. I also use the RJ45 ethernet port and the audio port without problems. I have not tried to connect an external drive to it, so I cannot comment on that. Some people had problems with that. I will keep you posted, when I try it, or if something happens in the future. It is one month now, and it is working fine - no problems.

Great dock depending on model you receive
I have three of these docks that my company is using with M3 Macbook pros. They work great with dual and triple monitors. I ordered three more for some M4 Macbook pros we just received. The new docks are labeled as a Pro version while the previous docks I received are labled as a Max version. The Pro version does not work with the M4. We tried all of them and the screen blacks out every few seconds with a dual or triple monitor setup. The M4 works great on the previous docks we received that are the Max version. The only difference I can see between the two models I've received are the Max version of the dock includes a 180W power supply while the Pro version is 160W. With the 180W power supply, the M4 has no issues connecting. Other than the discrepancy in the models, the Max 180W dock works great and has been in use for over a year. I took one star off due to the recent models received.

Try as I might, couldn't get it to work at all
Wavlink USB 3.0 and USB C Universal Laptop Docking Station Dual Monitor -- I checked the Amazon site and found “product support,” tried two options, "failed initial set up” and “failed software download.”I couldn’t figure out how to turn it on!! --> there is no power switch. All connections on it and thence through it to my laptop, did NOT work. On a positive note, I found instructions on Amazon for “DisplayLink Cleanup.” I tried that and was able to download the Wavlink software and actually see the app in the Windows directory but the docking station still did not work. So, I requested a call from Amazon. Nice lady came back with their solution -- to return the product.I really wanted the docking station! But I couldn’t figure out how to get it to work. I sent two requests to WavLink support (via email), no reply within the 4-5 hours that I spent working on this. So, back it goes to Amazon... On a positive note, when I put my old Targus docking station back in play, I was able to see and use the DisplayLink Manager to set up the monitors. But I still need a second docking station! ;-(Updated 5/11 -- Wavlink support contacted me via e-mail, offered several steps to try, including power cycling the device. I had already tried what they suggested, but greatly appreciate their reaching out to me. I'm curious about the design of a product which provides no power switch and no indication of whether the device is on or off?? Sent the device off to Amazon...

A steal for the money!
Terrific price for a well built little dock. Half the price of Dell and packed with many more features.I can’t recommend this enough.

Nice Low Profile generic docking station
This is a great generic docking station in a nice form factor, with minimal setup. I have an older Lenovo machine and saved a good amount of money by using this versus the standard click-in docking station. Lenovo model X250.
