in White gloss for Ukulele, for Nylon Ukulele Strings

I've owned my Yamaha Silent Guitar Nylon for 12 years. All this time, I wound the strings around the bridge. Exactly like the manual suggests. As a result, the bridge has notable recesses (deep scratches) after these years because the strings were digging into the soft wood of the bridge (please see the attached photo). Recently, by chance, I found out about these Beads. They are saving the bridge from such damage.

I disagree with the manufacture's claim that these beads improve your tone. I did an experiment with two Cordoba C9 s. I tied one up the old fashioned way and used these beads on the other. The string sets were identical and the C9 I tied the traditional way has better tone and projection. My theory is when pulling a string around the back of the bridge and wrapping multiple times you get better contact and therefore more vibration which is good. When you use the beads you get minimal contact with the bridge and therefore less vibration. I still had the 3 to 7 day string stretching phase on both guitars so the manufacturer claim that these beads reduce or eliminate that is also wrong. What they do is they eliminate or greatly reduce the string break in period so that I agree with but they do that by sucking the tone or the life out of your strings. They also make it easier to restring especially for the nylon trebles but Ernie Ball makes a ball end string for classicals that would be even easier. You have to think if this is such a great idea then why don't all of the guitar makers employ it and why don't all of the string manufactures as well. I just hope this review doesn't give them any ideas !

The nut I received did require very little sanding to fit, which was great. The grooves are well done, and no adjustment was needed.The bridge did require significant sanding but, that is just fine! This new bridge now fits very well.I might carefully work it a little bit more to lower the action higher on the fretboard.The improvement from the plastic parts replaced: outstanding. The guitar is brighter and the tone richer, more complete. I should have done this change dozens of years ago!

A simple solution to a critical issue in every guitar.

I use these on the grandkids ukes. My old hands have a hard time restringing in the traditional way and these are a big help.

The reviews say guitar the pictures show guitar the seller say ukulele and they are ukulele 4 not 6 lucky I have a ukulele but they’re not for a guitar to small and 4 not 6.

Fanno sicuramente quello che dichiarano però sono costosi, chissà poi la durata. Non penso di comprarne altri per altre mie chitarre
