NYDJ Women's Plus Size Marilyn Straight Ankle Jeans | Slimming & Flattering Fit

I had heard about these jeans for years and never wanted to pay for them as they were out of my price range. I purchased these jeans with a discount and love them. I’ve had them for a while and they maintain their shape and comfort. I wish I knew this sooner as I would’ve purchased them regardless of the price as they are worth it!

LOVE THESE JEANS! I'm 5'4" tall, 180 lbs, and I ordered a size 16W. When I first tried them on, I was pleased with the fit, although they were a bit too long for me. But after being washed and dried, they did shrink in length a bit, and are just right for me now. I hadn't tried NYDJ Women's Plus-Size Marilyn Straight Jeans before. But they fit so nice and are so comfortable, with just enough stretch, that even though they're more expensive than I've previously spent for a pair of jeans, I hope to buy another pair of two in the future.

This is the Marilyn straight leg (16 inch leg opening) in a "future fit" denim (MARJ2013) jean. The jeans are soft, comfy and really stretchy. I normally wear a NYDJ in a size 4 and this size 4 fit beautifully.The "Varick" color is thankfully uniform (no whiskering or fading) and is a darker indigo blue. The only negative for me is the inseam is a true 33 inches and I have to wear my big girl shoes to get that long lean line. Who knows? Maybe I'll have them hemmed.Made in Mexico53% cotton31% polyester14% lyocell2% elastaneTurn garment inside out and machine wash cold/gentle cycle with like colors.Use only non-chlorine bleach. After reading reviews asking if these might be knock-off or NYDJ remainders, I decided to do a little experiment. I bought three pairs of NYDJ through Amazon and then bought the same style (and color) from the NYDJ site.Amazon's purchase: The jeans bought through Amazon's vendor had MUCH thinner material. ALL three pairs bought from Amazon began to thin in the thighs after two weeks, after a month there were holes forming.NYDJ Site purchase: These jeans are still looking fairly good. They are not wearing as well as the original NYDJ I have from some years ago... but are holding up better than the amazon vendor's.Now for the purpose of those who will say 'well you wore them to often without washing' - I only wear my jeans one day then they go into the laundry. Why only one day? Because I spend a great deal of time outside and DC humidity is just awful. Most days I'm weeding the garden or just chasing dogs around my yard, so I am not over stressing the material with my work.Did I buy them to small? No, they are actually a little loose. I don't like feeling like a sausage roll and prefer my jeans to allow me to breath.Do I wash them in hot? No, my jeans are washed in warm (not hot) water using a small amount of Meyer's laundry detergent & softener then dried on low. So these jeans were worn four times before they were starting to fall apart. I had to place patches inside the jeans to prevent them from disintegrating while I was wearing them.

I love the fit of this jean. They don't sag.

I am a diehard NYDJ fan. Only jeans I have worn for many years. This was my first time ordering online. The fit was really nice except for the length. The description said 27” inseam but they have got be at least 32 to 34 inches. I needed them so kept them but have to pay to have them cut and hemmed. I wore them turned up for a few days which kind of looked okay, but not suitable for the long run.

These are the best jeans I have been able to buy that hold their shape and don't stretch out. After I wear others, they start to stretch out while I am wearing them and then are too big after about an hour of wearing. These are not like that!!! Now, mind you there was a small amount of stretch, but not as much as compared to the other gazillion jeans I have tried before that stretched out during one wear until they didn't even fit before the evening was over. These are the best for holding their shape that I have bought so far. These will be on the top of my jeans list from now on, best so far for keeping there shape and not stretching out too much. Maybe I could get away with one sized smaller to avoid the small amount of stretch. Other than that, the best stretchy jeans I have ever bought. Wish they were a little less expensive, but worth the fit I guess! Very happy!

I love these jeans they fit nicely around my hips and stomach the only complaint they are wide at the waist for me as I have a smaller waistline. Otherwise great jeans looks good when I tried them on with my dressy heels I definitely will enjoy wearing these on my holiday coming up :)

Rinse is a nice dark colour. Denim is soft, stretchy and very comfortable. I’m likely in between the 16W and 18W and I got the 18W. I have a little room in them but will be great to wear. Do need to get them hemmed. Thought I ordered ankle length?

the look of the cuff

The photos colour and fade pattern on these jeans is lovely. What I received is a very fake looking blue, it does not look like a colour you would expect of denim/ jeans and there is no fade pattern at all. The pants fit ok but I should have sized down in the waist. Also you cannot roll up the hem as the inside is coated in a stretch black material so unles you want black cuffs, the pants must be worn full length.

These jeans are the only jeans I wear because the fit is perfect.

Wish I wasn’t so fat to need these jeans, but they are super comfortable. Hope they will launder well.
