Michael W.Smith: A New Hallelujah The Live Worship

What a Masterpiece, this is one of the most wonderful interpretation from Michael.

Slight variation of the review i wrote about the cd:This dvd was well produced with both good camera work and an excellent sound mix.I am a HUGE fan of Mr. Smith's live worship albums, "Worship", "Worship Again", and "A New Hallelujah". With Worthip, I fell in love with it the first time I listened to it, with Worship Again and A New Hallelujah, I had to listen a few times before I fell in love with them, but if I had to be stranded on a deserted Island with my Bible and 1 album on an IPOD and a solar power source, I can honestly tell you that it would be one of these three. I just don't know which one I would choose! They are that good!What I like most about Michael W Smith is that he points you in worship towards the Lord without getting in the way. The three albums are my favorite albums of all time and I have listened to at least 1 of the three every week for the past 3+ years.

This dvd is perfect for anyone who wishes to worship God in a powerful way, and for believers who have not had access to a church or a synagogue in a long time or any believer or non-believer who wants to know God.

I was first introduced to Michael W. Smith when his song "Friends" was released several years ago. Since that time he has crossed back and forth over the secular threshold with more than one song and achieved near legendary status for himself. As a worship leader, his music reveals the classic Michael W. Smith voice, which is highlighted by his unique sound and texture. As expected the quality and expertise of the band during this DVD performance stands out. On the other hand, I prefer Michael's original music more than the standard worship "re-makes" that he offers on this DVD. Keep in mind, when this DVD was first produced these songs were fairly new; however, even then Michael was just one of several artist who produced this type of DVD. His version of other people's music is always good, but in the past his original music has been "head & shoulders" above anything you'll see on this DVD.

I allready owned the cd A New Hallelujah and I was curious about what experience the dvd would bring to me. Well, I'm absolutely not disappointed. This is how you bring worship to live. You can easily identify yourself with Michael, but also with the people in the 'church'. I did feel the joy with the African Children's Choir and I shared the deep love with Michael to our God with Deep In Love With You.I would surely recommend this dvd to everyone who wants to experience a live worshipping event with Michael W. Smith. You won't regret it!

it is always a blessing, when great singers use their voice fore God the one who gave it to them, Michael praise and worship to God knock my socks off. The way he praise and worship God always move me into praise. his singing give me a greater desire to live a life of praise.

Awesome worship DVD; very creatively done, 2 choirs including the African children's choir. Production quality was good, but not up to par with a first rate concert DVD. Concerns are some of the camera angles were not that great, and also it is not available in blu-ray. But overall, great to have, I highly recommend it even if you already own the CD.

Ive always loved Michael's work and this album is no exception. Occasionally I find His work a bit flabby and soft, but there's such a power in his delivery that I can overlook that. When listening to his work I often find myseldf challenged sometimes I have to rethinkk things (which is good as we need challenges or we become weak - my view)Over all a good album.

MSW excels himself in this superb time of worship. He uses simple melodies to make it easy to worship and even 'sing-a-long' to. Highly recommended.
