Because I use henna hair dye and hair mask once or twice per month, I purchased these to prevent wet materials getting onto my ears. I tried to wrap my ears with those silicone ear covers (never stayed on) or plastic wrap (beast for ears). These disposable protectors are great quality. I've used a few dozens and so far not one tore. The elastic is very strong on every one. The plastic is large enough to cover the largest ears I'm sure. However because the elastic is so effective, it tends to slip off my ears. I had to adjust them or reinstall them a few times before they finally stay. I'm not sure how they will prevent liquid like shampoo or water if they keep on slipping off during shower. The henna hair dye or hair mask are thick paste, so it's not a problem for me. I did find that if the covers are finally on, after I wrap my head with a towel covering the ear covers, they will stay put for hours. So they are able to protect my ears after all. My ears would be sore from the elastic, but they will be clean. Another use I found is because these plastic covers are made well, I sometimes use them to cover small jars to prevent dust or cat licks. Yes you read that right. My cat likes to smell any and all things. These covers, tough not air tight nor water tight, stay on. I included a picture of the cover on a 4oz mason jar which I use all the time to mix things up for crafts, masks, etc. Reusable yet disposable if dirty. Great!

The concept was great but the actual ‘shower ear cap’ let me down. I tend to get water in my ears (which is difficult to get out) and thought these would be the best thing ever. However, they did not meet the test. Water gets in easily when you’re washing your hair due to the ‘cap’ moving around which cannot be helped. It was worth a try.

Bought for my aunt because her one ear is extremely prone to infections. She said they worked great for shampooing her hair, but once she rinsed the conditioner her ear got soaked. It just leaked right under. For $6 what do you expect? But they are just ok. Depends what you need them for I suppose.

Great product

Love this product but not as ear covers. I have a farm stand hydroponic system and I needed a way to corner the plant pods to germinate the seeds. These little covers did the trick. Most of them are strong and the elastic expands just perfectly. Sometimes, though, the stitching does give way and renders the cover useless. This does not happen too many times. After all, there are two hundred in a package. The other day I had little pots to plant bonsai trees, found that these ear covers could be used over about a three inch pot as well. Very nice. I did try them as the covers as they were originally intended and the ear covers work perfectly. Overall this is a great product.

This item really doesn't fit as it should. If your ear is on the medium to small...perhaps. Because of the size it was also awkward to put on.
