K&N33-5017 Air Filter

The idea of reusability is what I like the best about this product. Heard that it would also increase meg's but was skeptical. However, it certainly comes as advertised. Prior to installation my Toyota Tundra was averaging 16.2 mpg. After putting in the K&N it is up to 18.2 mpg.

Installed it on my husband 2017 Toyota Tacoma and so far it's been amazing. It was very easy to install just opened the cover and took out the paper filter from the dealership and out this one in and job was done. Husband has noticed a few changes to the truck, the 3.5 V6 that Toyota has isn't known for low rpm torque (something that they've tried to fix in newer models) but is incredibly tough and reliable now with the new air filter he's doesn't have to bury his foot as much for the rpm to build before the torque kicks in and while the acceleration hasn't increased as much as others have noted in there reviews it is a noticeable difference. Second thing is while the fuel economy hasn't improved as much as others have noted in there reviews it has remained consistent meaning that during the winter months for example with the heater on constantly and winter tires the truck always burned more fuel and now with winter here the fuel combustion hasn't increased like usual which is amazing. Overall happy with it and would highly recommend it over the paper ones that the dealership puts in if your not willing to pay for a whole new cold air intake system

Good as described and fit for toyota engine 1UR and 3UR

Recently put this K&N air filter in a 2021 Toyota Sequoia with a stock 5.7 V8 engine, and am very happy with this decision to drop the money on it. The mileage before with the old air filter wasn't great. Anywhere between 13 to maybe 17, at best. Usually around 15 highway. Now the computer is reading above the twenty mile to a gallon mark , hovering round 22.5 most of the time on the highway. Not to mention the increase in get-up-and go, and the improved throttle response. Dropping 85 bucks for an air filter makes one balk at first, but K&N just made a believer out of me. Then there is the fact that you'll never have to buy another cheap crappy paper filter again, which apparently, was choking the life out the engine. Cleaning this filter every 50,000 to 75,000 miles is a small price to pay for such an easy upgrade in mileage and performance. This really is a performance part and worth every penny. I'm happy with it.
