Very handy bit of kit
Super bracket for holding multiple accessories up at once. I had 3 different things on a stand at once using this and it worked perfectly. Nice quality Built to last Good size and you can even add extra bits to it from GoPro accessories to make that kit all work with it too. Very handy if you film or create content a lot

Yes, it works, but with one caveat...
Bought this item in order to mount two action cams side by side. Item arrived as described and within the specified time. It is a piece of machined and anodised black metal, ostensibly aluminium. The bracket is about 4mm thick, and resists casual bending: some effort might be required to bend it (but I'm not about to try too hard!). At the centre are a 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch threaded hole (with the actual mid-point of the bracket length falling directly between the holes, i.e. both the mounting holes are offset from centre by about 5mm). To either side is a long machined slot, about 6mm wide and approx 125mm long with each slot occupied by two 25mm wide thumbscrew 1/4 20 threaded camera mounting points that can be moved back and forth at will along the length of the slot; the underside of the thumbscrews also have a threaded 1/4 20 inch hole. The bracket is essentially as is described in the Amazon page. However... Unfortunately, the issue I had was with the length of the screws that are supposed to secure the equipment. Every camera I tried (2 action cams, 2 point and shoot cameras and 3 digital SLRs) failed to secure tightly enough. Despite turning the thumbscrews as tight as possible, there was still considerable play in the mount, and it was impossible to point the cameras without them moving. Having brought a screw-in handle to carry the mount and cameras I was left with a mount that was effectively unusable. From an examination of the bracket it seemed that the camera mounting screws were a fraction too long (only by about 1-2mm) and so weren't able to pull the foot of the camera body tightly against the bracket to secure it in place. So I had three choices: return the mount, reduce the height of the screws or find another solution. I needed the mount, so a return wasn't much of an option. I didn't fancy taking a file, angle grinder or Dremel to the screws to reduce their height, so I had to consider something else. In the end what I did was bought some foam rubber, self adhesive furniture pads (specifically, Grevosea 93 Pieces Furniture Pads Non Slip Furniture Pads Floor Protectors Self Adhesive Chair Pads Round Furniture Pads for Protecting Hardwood Floors 8 Sheets 1 Inches Black). I punched a 4mm hole in the middle of four pads and then stuck them over the upper surface of the camera mounting points, so that the threaded bolts popped up through the central holes in the pads. With the extra thickness of padding, securing cameras was a doddle, and all the cameras that previously moved loosely on the bracket could now be secured. So, as a bracket, is it worth it? Yes, it's worth the money and offers flexibility in use. However, you may (like me) be forced to splash out on the added expense of some self-adhesive pads in order to make it into the functional item it should have been in the first place. But on the bright side, I have lots of pads left over: it's just that I can't think of any nefarious uses for them at the mo... :-)

Usefull
I find that I often need to do 3 things at once, stills, video and sound. with a DSLR this can be an issue and even more so if you are in a moving situation. this was a progression to having an action cam stuck into the hotshoe of my D750. With this I have action cam, light and video camera with stereo mic built in mounted securely on the hotshoe of my camera, they are all safe, all aligned to the same direction as my lens and allows me to record multiple formats at the same time. Brilliant. The bar is sturdy and everything fits as it should.
