I got this set for a 3D printing project I recently completed. I designed and 3D printed a carrying case for a rosary, and used some miniature hinges and hasps I have on hand. Said hinges and hasps came with wood screws that are way too hardened; Every time I'd try to attach a hinge or hasp component to a case half, the screw would break off flush, and I'd have to 3D print another case half.So I got this kit. I revised my case halves to have small hex pockets for the nuts, and printed the revised halves. With these fasteners I was able to securely fasten hinges and hasps to my case halves and complete the project, and nothing broke during assembly. Having screws of differing lengths was nice here, since it gave me options to consider when I revised case models. I was able to take some measurements beforehand and determine what lengths of screw I wanted to use, so there were no fitment issues when I assembled my case.Unlike another set of fasteners I bought during this project, I am happy this set came in a common rectangular box with dividers. The other set of fasteners I bought came in a round container with a rotary lid, and I worry the lid is going to break with use. Whereas the case for these fasteners probably won't have that issue.

Was a little bit worried about the quality of these screws since some people had issues with the heads stripping out, but they seem perfectly fine. I assume anyone who was having trouble with them was either trying to tighten them too much or they were using poor quality allen keys. Cheap allen keys are usually okay for larger sizes but when it comes to these tiny sizes they are abysmal and often just strip out.

I was able to repair a broken pot handle and keep my wife happy!!!
