Peices can fit into childs mouth. Not a toy to be left alone to play with.
Nice quality, no rough edges. Very tactile in the feel. I took o e star away because my 3 yr old was able to fit each whole piece completely into his mouth causing a choking hazard. I feel these are made for kiddos like mine, kiddos with extra needs. These should be made a but bigger to prevent this. My guy is a major oral seeker and everything still goes straight to his mouth. I like that the plastic is very thick and strong so no worries that he can bite through it like he has other toys. Good job there.

Excellent sensory toy for special needs
We bought these shapes for our special needs daughter who is developmentally delayed and blind. She loves these shapes! The size fits perfectly in the hands and she loves the different textures. Highly recommended!

involves the senses
I have a student with visual difficulties and wanted something more tactile. These have proven fun (and educational) for all of my students. (preschoolers with special needs). We use them in shape hunt games, sorting, and in the feel bag. I am sure I will come up with more ways to use these pieces and I haven't even read the directions yet.

Good for PreK and K
These are well-made and appealing. The reason there aren't 5 stars is that the bag is a bit annoying; doesn't pull tightly enough, so they tend to spill.

It is nicely packaged and is a good travel toy
This toy is very versatile. There are many ways it can be played with by children from toddler to grade school. It is nicely packaged and is a good travel toy. Will keep children busy whether playing alone or with friends and adults.

Good for learning.
These are great for kids learning about shape, colour and texture. It helps them pay attention to their sense of touch, by having to guess the shapes in the bag. The pieces are sturdy and a good size. My kids also like just playing with them, stacking them up, making patterns and sorting them into groups. I think these would be a good addition to a preschool classroom.

‘What’s in the bag?’ 💼
Having children with special needs (speech & Language, Missing chromosome etc) we alway appreciate it when we can try new learning resources. We have had the chance to try so many products from Learning sources and are so grateful. You may look at the retail price (£17.50) and think I’m not paying that but to be fair I would say there products are worth every penny. We have changed the name of this product to ‘What’s in the Bag?’ It has helped my children so much with there shapes, colours and textures. The quality is fantastic, very thick sturdy plastic, decent size, bright colours and even comes complete with a red drawstring bag.Very compact, lightweight and could be taken on the move and store anywhere. We have made up many games but I also love the fact it comes with a set of activity cards to give you so brilliant ideas.I find that Learning Resources provides items that my children are currently using in preschool.
