Samsung Galaxy A32, 5G SIM Free Android Smartphone - Awesome Black (UK Version)

So I bought 2 of these. One for my husband and one for myself as anniversary gifts. It requires a nano sim which I didn't have so I was 4 days late to the party. after updating to a contract and finally receiving the correct SIM I was able to then Get started. The volume is much better on this handset than my j5 and ultimately bigger in every direction. It's really sleek looking and easy to get around the features. I listen to rainstorms to fall asleep and it is lovely and loud for that. I used Samsung switch to move all my data, folders, pictures from my old phone to the new one. This took quite a while but I'm not impatient (It took 1 hr and 22 mins on phone to O2to change to a contract and I didn't lose it lol), Once that was done was just a case of signing in to apps etc and it was ready to resume normality. For me the phone is quite big and weighty so I made sure I got a cover with the built in ring which helps me to keep hold of it. lol Honestly phone sizes are getting out of control! whatever happened to the mars bar phone! Lol This is absolutely massive in my hand I can barely grip it, it causes my hand to over stretch which isn't great. It is however a great phone so far no complaints on functionality (size aside), speed or audio. The camera! OMG THE CAMERA! Absolutely phenomenal!!!! My husband's previous phone was so grainy before but he took a photo of our pear tree which is finally growing pears (hold the applause) and you can see it so clearly even the dandelion clock had landed on top of one and you can see every piece clearly. Really impressed! Bravo samsung! I don't really use my phone for much but it's great i can now actually use everything if I need/want to and it will actually work! Lovely phone! Would buy again but hoping I won't have to for many years. Update* I now use my phone for everything! Easy to use and a breeze to do your shopping.

I previously had a Samsung Note 10 plus. Having to go back several generations was a source of fear for me. However, when I bought this phone (bought a 2nd hand one) I was really pleased. The size is perfect same as my previous. Screen resolution is brilliant. The thing that blew me away was the processor speed. I was expecting a lot of lagging but I have none. You could easily think you were holding an S series. There are some compromises such as no always on display, no wireless charging and no pen. I also found that if I run a video theme then it would lag slightly but just having a static theme is no big thing. I won't review the camera because I'm a believer in the fact that if you want professional photos buy a professional camera. All in all it is a really sturdy, well made phone that would suit all but the die hards who work off their phone constantly in office etc. It is a really good bargain and the 2nd hand version I bought for £180 is immaculate. You would be hard pressed to see its not brand new.

This is by far the largest phone I have every owned and whilst the big screen is good, I'm not sure size something I'll look for in future phones. It's at (or sometimes just beyond) the limits of one-handed operation for me (and I have pretty big hands). It fails to fit in a number of pockets that my previous phone (a Galaxy A40) disappeared into with ease. It feels a chunky item in the hand and it's no lightweight either. The fingerprint reader seems reliable but the sensible precaution of having a limited number of prints stored does mean that I am sometimes trying to unlock it with an unregistered digit. Battery life is great but, obviously, if you're streaming video to that nice, big screen you won't get very far into a binge-watch before needing to recharge. 5G appears to work well and the implementation of NFC pay (Google Pay, Samsung Pay, etc) is seamless. Sound from the single tiny speaker is reasonable and call quality (this is a phone after all) is good. Samsung have learned lessons from their past, meaning that you can use a microSD card to hold data and media and photos, leaving the ample phone memory for all the apps that seem an essential part of modern life. The camera seems good - sharp and pretty good in low light but a bit prone to desaturation in diffuse lighting - like when it's cloudy, as it seems to have been all summer in England. So, in summary: Pros - Screen, battery, camera, storage, Cons - size, weight

My previous phone (Huawei P30 Pro) got damaged and I needed a quick, half decent replacement. At around £150 this was about a third of the price I paid for the Huawei. Although spec wise the Samsung is a good way behind, tbh I am pleasantly surprised by its performance. Reading reviews there is a lot of criticism on the display quality, however I have found it perfectly acceptable although I don't use it for gaming. The screen is a good size too. The only thing that I have found to be an issue so far is the suggested 2 day battery life, although this may be due to my initial use as a new phone - installing apps, setting up/downloading etc. From a full charge in the morning I had dropped to about 40% in the evening, although it had seen some heavy usage and downloads via app stores etc. Camera/photos are excellent. Speaker is reasonable. My handset is only 64gb but its Micro SD compatible up to 1TB. Reasonably quick and responsive flicking between apps without freezing or lag. Overall it's a very good buy.

Internet, syncing etc all very fast. Very attractive phone and perfect size.
