Pin Lock to Ball Lock Conversion Post

I bought 2 sets and both leak.First for the threads - it looks like the base was drilled too wide before being threaded. Threads are not fully formed.Second for the inner o-ring sealing surface - also looks to be drilled too deep an/or too wide. Obvious visual difference when comparing with good working posts.Outside surface and coupling very good.But they leak so waste of money.

These seemed like nice quality disconnects, unfortunately for my pin lock kegs they bottom out before creating a tight seal on the post so they are useless to me. The threads start a little too deep. My kegs are a Firestone from ‘77 and a Spartanburg from ‘83.

Beware,these are not for the standard 9/16-18 thread on Firestone kegs. They are 19/32-18 thread which is used on the regular Cornelius kegs.

Well made but didn’t fit my pin lock Cornelius legs so I couldn’t use them.

I ordered the wrong diameter, the product itself looks great, but it does not work for the type of corni i have.

Seems to do what they are meant to do, but maybe I'm uneducated, but there were no instructions on how these are supposed to go exactly. I gave it the review I did based solely on the fact that I "hope" I put them together correctly.... I'll soon know when I get the keys pressure tested.

So far so good. Converted a keg the other night, filled it today. Wanted to confirm how well it works before doing more. I could see where the tool for removing the pin lock posts would be handy.

Fits perfectly on my 9/16 thread Firestone kegs. Ball lock disconnects fit snugly. The posts are well made and easy to clean. Very pleased with the purchase.
