Ive tried many configurations for filter micro and macro. This material allows the right amout of flow without clogging up to quickly. Perfect measurement to eliminate waste when I cut. Takes very little time to change the diapers on my overstocked mbuna cichlid tank. Ive tried many brand of diapers and this is the best. Also doesnt break down in high ph. and can be sprayed out and reused one time before disposal. Nitrates and amonia levels are perfect. 6 inches of 72 inch length lasts 2 weeks for me. The width provides 2 cut filters for every 6 inch length every two weeks. Love the macro and micro combination filtration all in one.

It's ok does its job very well but is already falling apart after only two clean outs. Would be hard pressed to call this a quality filtration media.

Flimsy unlike the green foam the white part is thinner and more coarse than the green foam. It works better in a flat position if using in HOB you have to be patient and put something stiffer behind it to hold it up

I've had this item less than 24 hours and it's already helped clear up my green water problems! If you're a pond owner, you know how terrible and frustrating green water can be. I have dead algae floating around in the water causing my water to be murky and disgusting. Pond filters are great for cleaning out large objects in the water like leaves but they never can grab ahold of the small algae particles. We've all tried the quit batting trick. It really works but it's expensive and you can't reuse the quit batting once it's saturated with algae. This is the perfect solution. I just finished rinsing off this filter media and put it back in my waterfall for round two! I put it in a laundry basket at the top of my waterfall and let gravity do the rest. Give this stuff a try! You won't regret it! I'm so glad I can see my fish again!
