Great PoE switch
Great PoE switch, it was really easy to install and is working perfectly. I bought it to replace a Netgear 5 port switch I had before. My main reason was that I needed PoE switches to turn on VoIP devices this one was the best option. Price was good and it comes with 4 PoE ports. It has Metal construction and the size and design is perfect for small spaces. I mounted it on a wall and looks great. It is a lite managed switch that will allow you to set vlan a s QoS but is limited. Even though it has 64 W for all ports and 30 W max per port is more than capable to power up 4 IP phones. All are gigabit ports. I bought a used one and it came in the original box.

Performs great, basic VLAN management
I got this to experiment with VLANs and upgrade our home network to be more robust and secure. If you're willing to tinker, this is definitely worth the money. It's fast and has two features I needed, POE and VLAN support. I've been using it over a year, and have had no issues with it.I use it to power a Unifi AP over POE, and the AP powered up immediately on plugging it in to one of the four POE ports. I just had to configure it in the Unifi management console and it worked. Later, I added additional wireless SSIDs with VLANs to separate networks by function. This required a bit of research to get the 802.1q settings right, because they don't tell you much of anything about how to set it up. But once I figured out how to set it, it is actually very simple. I the attached image, port 3 has the Unifi AP and port 8 connects to a pfSense firewall. In my setup, you have to configure the VLANs in 3 places (pfSense, Unifi, and this switch) so it's the VLAN IDs that make them work together. More work, less money, but it works fine.I would recommend this if you want a GB switch with POE and don't care about VLAN settings, since it is really simple to plug-and-play in that case. Also recommended if you want a managed switch and don't mind having to configure the VLAN settings manually, and would rather save the money vs. buying a switch that is fully integrated with a management console like Unifi or Omada.

Solid 1gb switch
Solid switch. This provides poe power for my wifi access point and works very well. The management works as expected. One small gripe with that is the fact that the admin interface is not https. It would be nice to have a encrypted session to change things in the management portal. The http portal is not a deal breaker but it would be nice to see it as an option. I understand that this is not an enterprise switch. The price-tag is also not that of an enterprise switch. Overall this is a good 1gbe managed switch for a soho or homelab.

Plug and play switch
I use this switch with 2 TP-Link Deco POE routers. They receive power through 30-50 feet of Ethernet cable. The switch is compact, I have it mounted behind my bridge router using an On-Q mount. There’s plenty power supply is separate and is as bulky as an old laptop power supply. It instantly powers any connected devices on startup. It took around 3-5 minutes to initially open the port when plugging in a new device however it is instant after that. Connectivity seems to be flawless. I haven’t had to restart anything and it boots up after any power outages. It seems to be a good value for a POE switch.
