These are fun to use, they make a simple recipe for deviled eggs a stunning center piece on the luncheon table. Someone asked what kind of chicken lays square eggs!🤗

Fun novelty item.

I carry my lunch to work and thought this might be fun to try as something different and goofy at lunch. I originally used large eggs, but then tried extra large eggs with no issues. I took a cotton swap, dabbed some food coloring on the tip and made eatable dice. Because the eggs are square, I can get more into a smaller rectangular container for storing. Don't expect the eggs to hold their exact shape after a day or so. They don't go completely oval but they don't stay perfectly square. The square shape holds for a hours, but then begins to look like a slightly smooshed marshmallows around the sides. I've cooked several and never had the yoke punch through. Might make a neat new way to serve deviled eggs or have for breakfast.

Turned out great. Makes a fresh hard-boiled egg into a cube. Make sure that you put the egg into the cube mold ASAP after boiling it (do not burn yourself!). The fresher the boiled egg, the cubier the egg. Makes great deviled eggs that do not roll off the serving plate. Actually works, and it's fun.
