SB & SG series / 60mm length (diameter 2.5mm, glow Blue)

I have a nice guitar with a small problem. It has a very dark roasted maple fretboard with black dot inlays. I can’t see them. The side dots are the small Luminlay dots with the black surround, also hard to see. I replaced the side dots with these large 3 mm ones and, wow, huge difference! I play various guitars of different scales so I can’t memorize my hand position and need to see something for fret location. These are great! Install was tedious but not difficult.

Title says it all. It is a superb product. I was naive when ordering and assumed I would be getting more than one stick as the pictures kinda show. To be fair the description is 100% accurate. You are getting one and only one stick 60mm long. It's enough for one guitar with a bit of leftover. 100% happy with this purchase

I bought the super bright green and blue colors. Before drilling into a bass I decided to mount a couple examples into a board. I used the Luminlay charger the recommend on each dot for 15-20 seconds. They looked great when I put them in a drawer to block light. The green is much brighter than the blue is FYI. 15 minutes later I check in the drawer - zero glow on both dots. Tried several times and got the same result - dead after 15 minutes. As the majority of my gigs are 2-3 hours minimum in clubs (some with low lighting) this product will do me no good whatsoever. Cool concept if it worked but I'm glad I didn't drill into any of my basses without testing first!

Took a chance on 3 mm luminlays for the sides, i was worried they were too big. But upon installing it.... Man i love it! Quite pricey but she looks really good!

Luminlay from Japan is the best that’s out there. You can experiment with other brands, but you won’t KNOW you’re getting a great product. (No, I’m not a “paid” reviewer, just an experienced bass guitar builder)
