I found this to be a good quality, nice looking light, that was also bigger than I was expecting.With a standard ceiling rose light, you get the plastic connector block part that the wires screw into, and the ceiling rose then screws on to that. This light does not have that. You get a metal bracket that screws into the ceiling and the rose part of this bolts onto that bracket. You will connect the wires using terminal blocks. Also be aware if you are in the UK, the black wire on this light is actually live and the white is neutral. So you want the black connected to brown(red if old wire), and the white connected to blue(black if old wire). Earth is the usual green and yellow. I found the light easy enough to install in the end.I put an E27 alexa bulb into the light, and think it looks fantastic. I ended up buying three more lights for the rest of my downstairs, so I would recommend it.
