I have a nice Sony Point an shoot that is a bit heavy but this little handle is able to handle it - pun intended.

The UURig Handheld Grip 1/4" Screw for Camera Stabilizer is an amazing addition for your action cameras, even your mirrorless micro 4/3 cameras. I purchased this for my Sony FDR X3000 as an action cam mount, and so far it's done the work I needed when it comes to long-term use and comfort. It's well built, well engineered and the comfort level is a 10 out of 10 for long uses. It has a good rubberized grip, but soft at the same time and the form is well thought out. I'm planning on buying a few more that way I don't need to constantly unscrew and screw back to another unit. The price point is a total steal for those looking to save money, but the investment is worth it for your action cameras! What I like is the fact that it's smaller in size, and you're able to maintain the grip without fear of it breaking or you losing a part. It's very simplistic, and a minimalist design yet attractive. Comfortable grip.

Camcorders have shrunk over the years, from hulking behemoths with shoulder rests down to downright tiny contraptions barely big enough for their own wrist strap. This inexpensive pistol grip changes the way modern camcorders are held. If you prefer to use one hand to hold the camera and the other to operate the controls, why not give it a try?
