Best remedy from a sore throat
Best remedy from a sore throat, I have tried everything but these ones are the best. Very nice taste and it really helps with the pain, since trying this I never ever buy anything else

Way to much of a good thing
Great taste ,works...These are great cough drops. I recommend them highly, but I ordered 4 bags and got a total of 60 bags of ludens of 36 drops. That’s 1thousand one hundred and 60 cough drops. Ain’t no body that sick. I hope Ludens reads this and I can send them back or something

Almost like candy
I was recently at a training and as we were sitting at the table I got a whiff of cherry that immediately made me feel nostalgic and I knew I had to purchase some cherry throat drops. I haven’t had these bad boys in many year but I used to pop them like candy. Immediately after receiving them I opened the package to that recognizable scent and prayed that they would taste the same as I remembered. I was not disappointed in the slightest. I’ll have to show some restraint and not chow down on the entire package.

Work like a charm
Yet me start out by saying that when I lie down, I often start coughing. Nasal drainage, I guess, but it keeps me awake. I've spent much of my life availing myself of Halls or copycat lozenges with their menthol/eucalyptol formula. Menthol and eucalyptol both work as anesthetics, numbing your through where it tickles, and as inflammation reducers. But I find them a bit on the harsh side, and even honey-lemon, my favorite flavor, gets old pretty quick. And both are toxic in high enough quantities. I don't have a bag handy, but I'm pretty sure it says on the package, "Do not exceed...." It's unlikely that an adult will take too many, but pediatricians say to keep them out of the hands of children.I spent a few days at my mother-in-law's place while doing some substitute teaching, and all she had was Luden's, cherry flavor. Wow! They not only worked, but they tasted good. Someone in another review said they were like candy. Well, I guess that's sort of true, but it's candy with pectin in it. Pectin is in the same family as sugars and starches, and it's what makes jelly gel. It acts as a demulcent, meaning it coats your throat with a protective layer, which is a gentler way of doing the same thing, if it's sufficient for your case. It is for mine. I've completely turned away from Halls and use these exclusively now. Besides, they taste like real cherries, not that nasty cough-syrup taste trying to cover up the foulness of dextromethorphan. And there's no worry about overdosing; take as many as you like. I never go to sleep now without a bag of these beside my bed.

Tastes great and available when I need them
I love the taste of Ludens wild cherry throat drops but do not want to suck on sugar. The sugar free variety works perfectly for me, when I can get it. Local store, including chains Target and Walmart, seldom have the sugar free variety in stock. Such a treat to have it available from Amazon, and at about the same price as it would be from local stores, if they had them in stock. Add to that the convenience of subscribers and save! I have not gotten any short pull date bags so I usually get 6 months worth at a time.
