Good quality. Used to layer under waterproof blanket. In negative degree weather.

Bought to temporarily go under a blanket during extreme cold (-45). My gelding wore for 3 days under a tough midweight and the cooler came apart at the shoulder seams, just split right along them like they were perforated. He was turned out the whole time but is very easy on his blankets and didn't do anything more athletic than stand around out of the wind waiting for hay. I bought this cooler for the security of the cross-belly and leg straps and it did otherwise stay in place nicely, and is very soft and did a good job wicking moisture from his snow-damp coat when I initially put it on, but I wish I'd paid more for a nicer brand due to the seams ripping... it just doesn't hold up to movement at all and would only work for a standing horse cooling out after a ride, and even then I don't know how long it would last. I'll reinforce the seams but next time I'll just get something pricier but tougher from smartpak.
