The Douwe Egberts gold instant coffee is the best instant coffee I have ever had. The flavor matches the best brewed coffee. The only negative is that the jars are not vacuum sealed.

The title says it all. I’d fight a Colombian drug lord if they took over and controlled this product..Great stuff!!!

Great coffee, this stuff will put your keurig or nespresso machine into storage. And no packaging waste.

Where I work it's the typical coffee urn with the typical big brand coffee. It just tastes like weak, nut-flavored coffee. So I bring my own instant coffee.My instant of choice has been Tastle. I like it mainly because I can make it as ridiculously strong as I like and it is consistently good flavor. I'm a coffee snob at home and mix my own beans from a local high-end grocer. It's the only way I get the rich, flavorful cup I fell in love with when I first started traveling - most of Europe and definitely Japan have the edge on flavor when it comes to coffee (it could be anywhere beyond US borders, but I've only experience a few other countries).So, the key issue for me is flavor. Douwe Egberts popped up in a list of suggestions at some point when Tastle was unavailable. I read through several of the reviews, including some of the 2 and 3 stars. Many of the reviews raved over the flavor but hated on the price. High prices don't bother me nearly as much when they're justified with quality.No question, this is amazing coffee. So good! I would be hard-pressed to identify it as instant if I didn't know otherwise. I now alternate back and forth between the Tastle and the Douwe Egberts.
