I returned after first use. States that it reads ABS faults but it didn’t on my 2020 Vauxhall. I didn’t really try any of the other features. Seems like a nice sturdy console and the buttons worked well, it connected to the car easily but the ABS section was greyed out

Attractive, bright, easy to read and 'clean' screen display, marred by Topdon's apparent inability to load the Ford EUROPE database (Ford-'North America' YES,) Ford-EUROPE NO! WHY on earth NOT? It does appear capable of downloading some OBD data, but without the Customised Ford decoding, it is of dubious value! I have reported this problem to the Topdon Customer portal, but was initially ignored for several days, before finally advising that I should be using the "Ford Europe" interface on their Menu Option! TOTAL BUFFOONS! That was precisely what I had explained to them was missing! Their web-based software upgrade is non-intuitive, and doesn't seem capable of downloading any "Ford-Europe" data base, as that isn't listed on their available database choices ~ WHY NOT? Unable therefore to evaluate any of my 2 year old Ford Fiesta's OBD readout with any degree of confidence. Don't waste your time with this bunch of loosers if you have a European Ford ~ as they simply don't understand that Europe exists! Returned for REFUND.

I tinker with a lot of cars for my family and friends, minor servicing and whatnot. I had a cheap scanner for years but it was tricky to use and searching for the code definitions was tedious. This bad boy is miles away from my old one. The screen is bright and easy to read, the interface is intuitive and it allows you to search for fault code definitions right within the unit. It's also pretty robust with rubberised case and hefty cable. My absolute favourite feature is the light in the end of the cable which allows you to find the cars OBD port and plug it in easily without faffing about in the dark. It's a lovely touch that. If you're a have-a-go mechanic then this chap will certainly save you a lot of head scratching.

This scanner is brilliant..easy to use and cleared airbag issue straight away.. No more going to garage for diagnostics.. Brilliant bit of kit !!!!!!
