I tried another brand filter that claims to fit my model Craftsman shop vac. It didn't. Then, after searching outside Amazon, I came across Kopach filters. It looked like the model I needed. Interestingly, Amazon carries it but it did not come up in Amazon search for me. I had to name the filter for Amazon to bring it up. I hope Amazon fixes that because I noticed a lot of other customers who were frustrated with the other brand.

This is a great replacement filter for my old craftsman shop vac. Big difference on the suction compared to the OLD dirty filter I was using! Reasonable price for it too and shipped quickly.

4/5 stars only because I just received the filter. I have confidence in this Kopach filter that it will work great. This is the only filter I could find for my older Sears Craftman WetVac (part #9-17816.... And it fits perfectly. Thanks Kopach & Amazon!

My Craftsman 113.177961 has worked great for 25 years or more. In all that time, I cleaned and used the original filter over and over again. Recently I realized more and more dust gunk was clinging to the filter. So I decided it was worn out. Then I found that I could not find a replacement that fit. Even the ones that include the 113.177961 in the list of vacuums they fit did not fit. Finally, I found this one. It fits, it works. I hate throwing away a perfectly good piece of equipment just because it needs a part that has become hard to find. So I was ver happy to find this one. It fits, it works. It looks like it will work a long while, but I won’t wait another 25 years to replace it. Support these guys, KoPach. They provide a high quality, hard to find product at a perfectly reasonable price.

I was given an older Sears craftsman shop vac (easily 20 or so years old,) and could not find a filter at the big box stores that would fit. THEN I took a chance on this one and it fits perfectly! So was able to continue my massive cleaning efforts!
