Village Green Ready to Use Wood Stain - Water Based, Eco Friendly, Premium Quality (Gunpowder, 500ml)

Pouring it onto a cloth in every which way possible, trying to prevent a leak - not happening. The results are great when applied to wood and a little goes a long way, but the leak is so wasteful

For my particular application it wasn’t very successful. I was just trying to touch in some wood scuffs in our caravan. Tried to build up the layers but it did not cover properly. It could be just my fault on this type of wood, or because it’s water based. It might work better over a larger area. Good range of colours though and reasonably priced.

Basically watered down paint.Couple of coats of this and you will entirely loose the grain, this does not stain the wood at all it is just really thin paint.

Very weak covering. I did shake the very small bottle. Careful not squeeze it just after opening. Apply with a cloth, as the brushes do not.

The actual colour almost black not at all like the photo

I ordered light oak, glad I tested it. It was really dark colour

Great coverage and easy clean up. Very pleased with the colour though a bit darker than expected. My only criticism would be it needs shaking like your life depends on it to get the (really excellent) pigments mixed in, a couple of beads in the bottle for mixing would be a welcome addition!
