I didn't think I was a neck pillow person BUT after getting one for my husband, I got one for myself too! They really are as good as they say, in all ways. Not constricting, really supportive but also comforting soft fabric so you can just ease your tired head back or let it support you all day in a high-backed office chair. Marvelous and well worth the money.

I purchased this pillow for an 18 hour international flight, having never used a travel pillow of any kind before. It is stiffer than I thought it would be, but I got used to it. I slept much better with it than when I just leaned my head and seat back, and it was certainly better than the joke of a pillow they give you on the plane. A few times, I also used it as a comfy foot rest after wrapping it in the inflight blanket, when adjusting to different positions to stay comfortable on the long flight.The elastic strap is very handy for carrying on a rolling suitcase's extendable handle. The soft cover is very nice, and fits snugly so the pillow doesn't slip around inside.I fall asleep riding in the car so easily, and I have also found it to be useful for car trips. Much better than wedging a flat pillow between myself, the seatbelt, and the window.My one issue was that the back of the pillow seems just a bit large, forcing my neck into an exaggerated curve at first, until my neck settles into the foam after a little time. Even then, it is on the borderline of discomfort, so I have to lean my head at some sort of side angle rather than lying directly back on it. I am a smaller 5'4" woman, so perhaps this is why, and people with different bone structure may not find this to be a problem at all.

I can't write enough positive things about this pillow. I had originally purchased the 'Total Pillow' extremely last minute before a red eye flight from Walgreens (link here)Total Pillow As Seen On TV. That pillow was a total piece of junk and I began looking for a new pillow the next day. This pillow looked like it would work, and it has more than exceeded expectations. I have a 1-1.5 hour commute each way to work, and use this pillow on a daily basis (since I am not driving...). Even with this level of use over the past 6 months, this pillow has held up remarkably well, and the cover can come off if you need to wash it. The foam really is a nice dense memory foam, and the pillow fits perfectly around my neck.Pros:-COMFORT! From the soft cover to the memory foam, this pillow is the most comfortable travel pillow I've ever owned-washable coverCons:-a bit bulky since you can't really compact it like those air inflated pillows (more of a feature than a bug), however, I easily fit this pillow in my backpack and carry it to and from work everydayI think this pillow may be one of the best purchases I have ever made. Get one and you won't be disappointed.

Purchased this for my wife for our 8 hour plane ride. She loved it and was very happy with the sleep she was able to get while using it. It came packaged in a clear plastic bag, without any type of carry bag. There is an elastic strap on the back portion for you to drape over the handle of your carryon for ease of carrying through the airport, but you will have to find something to do with it when going through security. The outer material is a soft microfiber that feels good to the skin and neck area when in use. The memory foam is springy and returns quickly to original shape. I did not notice much of a off gassing smell when I opened the bag and my wife never complained of any smells either... it was more like the smell of a plastic bag/cardboard box.I started to take the cover off of the pillow to see the inside, but noticed it didn't come off extremely easy and I didn't want to hassle with it to put it back on, so I didn't take it all the way off. It will come off if needed however and I imagine it would just take a little extra work to get it back on and into place.Overall for the price and free 2-day shipping with Prime, I don't think you can beat this pillow!

I am a big fan of these "C" shaped neck pillows. My old one was fiber-fill, comfortable and got a lot of use. Sadly, we had a house fire and it was one of the items I had to replace. I decided to try the Memory Foam pillow. I have mixed feelings about this one. The shape is comfortable and supports my neck just fine. I am not a fan of the velour covering though. It feels scratchy, and I think it would feel too warm in the summer. The Memory Foam is okay. It feels a little too hard for complete comfort. I wish it had a little more give to it. So, I recommend this pillow with just these reservations. If you have skin that is sensitive to scratchy textures, overheat easily with things wrapped around your neck, or like a soft feel to your pillows, try something else. Otherwise, it is a great pillow that seems well-made and should last a long time.

Love this item. I actually use it nightly as I recently had surgery that requires me to sleep in an upright position for the next several months. Without a recliner, it is very hard to sleep upright without your head lolling to one side or the other. This pillow is super! Has a memory foam core and super soft cover. I thought it might be too firm at the back of my neck when laid against pillows since this is really designed to be a travel pillow but it conforms nicely and works just great. It supports my head and neck throughout the night and can even be twisted slightly if you want a little support under your chin. It got great reviews and that is why I tried it and and I think its a great product too. I'm not sure how long it will hold up to nightly use but I'm sure it will get me through the next few months and so far I'm very pleased with it. Super comfortable.
