Muhammad Ali: The Greatest

I had ordered this DVD becasue I wanted to learn more about Muhammad Ali the world most famous boxer. I see why he is loved my millions his great sense of humor his style but most important his talent as a boxer and his skill. This man was awasome in the ring and out, he was a real sense to see in action in the ring. He was the world great world champion. he spoke out against discrmmation against his (our) people and he took a stand in hsi own belief as a man and as a muslin. I appauld him for that. We love you Ali. He is the Greatest of ALL Time.

I'd rather watch this than damn Will Smith trying to be Ali. This is authentic and genuine. This man has integrity, and as a athlete became a leader of humanity.

I wanted to have a better understanding of Muhammad Ali’s life. I’ve watched this movie and it helped me get glance at the Champ’s life.

I actually did not watch it once I became aware that it was not the film I was looking for. Amazon made a mistake in listing William Klein as the Director - so beware. Through some investigating I've determined that the DVD I intended to purchase is a documentary titled "Ali The Greatest: 1964-1974." I've seen clips of it and have read many very favorable reviews - it looks outstanding...

It's the whole thing. Quality is 6 to 9 out of ten but the fights are all there.No regretsroger

Unfortunately, I have to say that I'm dissatisfied with the Muhammad Ali DVD set in that the first DVD (his early years) did not work at all and that was the one I was most looking forward to watching. The others in the set are fine but the first one just did not play at all . This is very unusual . I've always been satisfied with products. Stephen Rapp

I love photography and boxing...so William Kleins documentary about two periods in Ali life (Liston to draft and then the Foreman fight) was a must see. It's documentary style, very intimate, observant and compelling. It doesn't feature the fights themselves to any great stent but all the background around Ali, the fight game and the effort involved from the man himself and his camp. Was fascinated with the behind the scenes training and dressing room footage..the fight game in all its raw brutal heroic glory.

From the ring to the big screen, Ali pulls no punches. This film is both fascinating and factual. It contains a nice mix of comedy, whilst also showing the seriousness of the black civil rights movement in the 1960s. Some may see this as slightly dated, however it is great to see the champ at his peak, playing himself. I'm guessing no other actor at the time was good enough to play him?

Ieas a bit disappointed as I am old enougjh to temembet the real Ali. So it was always goigto be tough to pull this off. But still a good story.

This film made me laugh alot. Its great because muhammad ali is playing himself and you really see his personality and behind the scenes with his personnel lifethis is one of the best films ever made.10/10 i would recommend anyone too watch.

Surreal. Ali starring in his own movie. You can't accuse the man of narcissism because he WAS as good as he said he was!!!
