This is the best butane torch available, and the price is reasonable. In my woodwind repair shop, I use it frequently, and it is always dependable.

This little torch is well designed and ergonomic. It feels "hefty" and good in the hand. Stands on it's base well, and is not Chinese junk. I am impressed. Solid. When I lose this one (because it doesn't feel like it will break) I will re-purchase.

Excellent. I use it for all sorts of things. I've done some low temp brazing - you need the right silver solder. Very adjustable. The only thing I don't like is that it won't light if it's set real low, you have to turn it up a bit, and then turn it down. I marked it down for safety only because you have to use a second hand to turn the "on" lock on.

So, I needed a pinpoint flame, but hotter than what this provides. Butane burns at a lower temperature than other gasses, so I need MAP gas with a pinpoint flame.

This is the 4th Blazer torch I've purchased. I am a professional jeweler and love the convenience of these little torches. The lock is useful. With regular daily use they last at least a year or two without showing any signs of wear. I only use the recommended blazer fuel to avoid the torch from getting clogged and always let the gas settle before using the torch. Would definitely recommend for the professional or hobbyist.

I bought this torch for Im giving it a 3 out of 5 because It must be lit at full strength and then brought down to the desired level. I find it gets to hot to slide after seconds of lighting.I also have the exact same torch by HONEST and they both function exactly same and quality are both the same but the honest torch was $13.That being said, I use my blazer everyday, soldering, smoking and in the kitchen since october of 2017NOT for big jobs or continuous jobs longer than a few 5 minutes imo.

I have used several butane torches over the years and this one is by FAR the most well built and quality designs I have used. It makes the others look like kids toys (not that kids should use torches). I use this torch for mobile electronics installations on heat shrink tubing / sealed connectors etc - you can adjust the flame with the fuel and air sliders and it works perfectly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this model if you are looking for a top-end torch and are tired of the cheap versions.

These are excellent and perform well. We use them in a dental lab for wax ups etc.Price was great when we bought the first ones, they have gone up quite a bit since.

The lighter only lasts about a year. If they would have invested a bit more in the igniter, the torch would be usable for a long time.

Not a bad torch but depends on what you are using it for. I purchased it for automotive purposes - soldering wires together and warmig heat shrink. I found it not erganomical to hold as well as it basically only has a large flame setting. When dialed down to the smaller flame setting the torch does not light therefore I need to have the setting high, light it, than turn it down. Excelent heat, love the lacking child lock. But over all to intense for sensitive wiring
