If you're serious about your music & stereo system, you'll want to try CAIG Labs products.
CAIG Labs cleaners and lubricants are very high quality products. I used the DeoxIT cleaner/conditioner on the gold contacts of my 3 month old stereo system, and I was amazed at the amount of dirt and oxidation that came off with this product. After cleaning, I applied a small amount of the DeoxIT contact conditioner/enhancer to my contacts to protect against further oxidation. A nice side-benefit is the lubrication it provides which makes removing and reattaching connectors from the contacts much easier. In addition to a tube of cleaner and conditioner, it also contains a tube of DetoxIT SHIELD to protect contacts in harsh environments (high humidity, airborne pollutants, salt air, outdoor stereo units) and a tube of DetoxIT Fader for cleaning & lubricating plastic & carbon-based controls (faders, linear sliders - dot matrix printers, sliding and slow rotating metal parts, locks, bearings, potentiometers, mouse pointers and touch keypads). The kit also comes with a small the company's excellent Pointer Cotton Swabs, Precision Foam Swabs and Lint-Free Cotton Cloth samples, which are great for accurately applying the DetoxIT products. The Squeeze Tube Essentials Kit is a bargain at under $20 on amazon.com, although those who have many contacts and/or experience high oxidation conditions may find this kit does not last long for larger/frequent jobs. Larger size containers are available right here on amazon, where 100 mL of the DetoxIT Gold costs under $30. CAIG also makes ultra high-performance GOLD products for high-end audiophile equipment (spec'd for aerospace applications), called the DeoxIT Gold GxL Series, which are also available on amazon. Incidentally, CAIG Labs is located in the US (CA) and their products are "Made in USA".

Best for consumers and new users
If you're new to Deoxit or a consumer, this kit is a great way to start as you'll hardly use much unless you're into electrical servicing. Use D100 for overall cleaning, Gold for gold plated contacts, Shield to coat non-gold cleaned contacts against further oxidation and Fader for carbon based controls, such as slide controls or carbon pots, or connectors on plastic multiconnects as found in cellphones. How well does it work? Very well for cleaning most any electrical contacts. Deoxit has been around for over 30 years. Its well respected in cleaning metrology, aerospace and military devices. It is not silicone lube, which delicate devices cannot tolerate. It uses a derivative of Cramolin, an invention from the 1950s now slightly modified to conform to new safety requirements. Its not as widespread as silicone, which is generic, because its a proprietary formulation to the Caig company.A simple rule to use is apply D100 first, operate the switch or repeatedly insert and extract a connector for 5 minutes. Wipe off any excess. If its a gold contact optionally use Gold for sealing, otherwise use Shield. If what you are cleaning is a carbon based on plastic, use Fader alone. If you're not sure, use Fader first, if it doesn't work well, use D100 then.Over time, I use D5 or D100 more, as it does the bulk of the cleaning and use the rest fairly sparingly.Note, these tubes contain concentrated deoxit products. There are variations of deoxit that have aggressive solvents, that apply easier and dry quicker [ e.g. D5 is 5% cleaner, then diluent and solvent, D100 is cleaner only and diluent. The difference is D100 doesn't evaporate, you have to wipe excess off.]

It works
I designed industrial controls for about 45 years, and I can say that this is the best contact cleaner I've ever used. For instance, I was rebuilding an electronic organ and the notes switch contacts were in pretty bad shape with oxidation. I never expected a contact cleaner to help, but I tried it and 4 years later all 122 switches are still working perfectly. I did have to clean a few of them a second time a few months after the initial cleaning but have not touched them since.

Small amounts of all the Craig DeOxit
Four types of DeOxit: DeOxit 100, DeOxit Gold, Faderlube, and DeOxit Shield.Very small tubes. This kit should supplement your main DeOxit. I have a large can of DeOxit D5 which I use with CRC QD Contact Cleaner No. 02130. This kit is just enough for a few small drops every now and then when I need some of the lesser used DeOxit products. Also good for carrying around with you if you do work outside your shop. Also includes a few swabs.

Add this kit to maintain the electrical system in your RV.
I was interested in this product because my 20 year old motorhome has started having connection issues especially with the exterior quick connects. This kit has good sample choices for metals used and both the fuses and the connectors are in multiple environmental locations. The set covers most if not all of the reachable engine and house connections and fuses. I have also started used the gold cleaner on our Iphones. Yes, these chemicals do work.

Anti-oxidizer for electrical contacts
This stuff is like a miracle drug for electrical contacts. I rebuild old radios (1920-1950 types) and a lot of the switches and volume controls are simply nowhere to be found. I have used this type of anti-oxidizer for over 50 years (used to be called Cramolin) with excellent results. The newer product does not have the questionable compounds in it and meets EPA standards so it is safe. You use very little, I have a small syringe that I use and it works great.
