Full truth: I have never been able to brush my teeth consistently for a decade or so. Every time I tried I couldn't breathe, I was gasping for air, my gums were being stabbed even when I didn't have gum disease and I used kids' toothbrushes, I would cry from the sensory overload, even it touching my teeth gave me a grave discomfort. So for autistics I personally would recommend as it does feel mild enough to ignore the senses you do feel for the entire teeth brushing process. Id recommend buying flavoured toothpaste for best results.Because of this ease, it ultimately requires less time for me the lift the plaque do I do feelike it's easier/doable to complete the task despite my depression and ADHD. So if you have things like schizophrenia or anything like that which affects motivation I'd also give this a try.Those other reviewers who are saying it doesn't work as well as a toothbrush, it's for people who wouldn't be able to brush their teeth at all. So, it's very good for getting the job done. If you are truly we arrived about this though pair the brush with a water flosser. I have found that my teeth feel the same or very similar if I pair it with a water flosser, exactly as if I had a manual toothbrush.

These are not worth buying. Unable to use them as the bristles were really hard and cut the gum.For a toothbrush that a child with issues brushing their teeth is suppose to use, these are completely unsuitable!

The bristles are hard plastic, made my son's gum bleed on first brush. The quality is very poor; I actually thought it had a cover on the head but that was the actual head. It is an awful product and not fit for purpose.

Bought these for a reluctant to brush toddler. Love the idea of the design, but the bristles are made from hard plastic. Had to use one myself in an emergency and it was horrible! So hard on the gums!
