SIRUI SL-200 Center Column for Tripod and Monopod, Two-Section Carbon Fiber Center Column, Tripod Extender, 32cm Tripod Extension Tube

It’s a very well made product. Considering it only costs £21.00 there is nothing cheap about it. It is rigid, it locks up solid when extended. It’s an absolute bargain, I’ve no idea how it can be made for that price.

This is a nice addition to my AM-223 Mini Tripod. The pair of them pack down nice and small and can be easily carried with my minimalist macro photography kit. With the tripod and extension I can now cover almos all shooting angles and heights from ground level up to almost 3ft.Easy to fit, a quick spin of the ball head to take it off the tripod legs and the SL-200 just screws right into the space between the two items. It is rigid, light, and feels good in the hand. Well worth the money.

I have previously purchased a Sirui monopod, tripod with one of these extension tubes and as I have need to gain a little extra height on my wide shot this 2nd extender has been perfect for the job.Light weight, solid fixing and generally sturdy construction I can not recommend this product enough.

When the product arrived, it looked great, felt great, the quality appears good and it feels stiff.So, I took my tripod and removed the head, I reversed the screw at the top of the extension so it matched the 1/4" screw on my head.Next I turned to the 3/8" screw thread on the bottom of the extension. There was no option to make this 1/4" to suit my tripod.Disappointed I began the return process.Then I came across a 3/8" to 1/4" bushing on Amazon, I had to buy a box of 8 for around £5 but this meant I could stop the return process and keep the extension.So, SIRUI, why not add a bushing to this product to make a good product great?

I purchased the SL-200 to extend the height of my AM-223 tripod and it does this very well. It has a choice of 3/8" or 1/4" threads and will stand upright on its base plate. This makes it very versatile for other applications as well - I use it as a handle (monopod) for my M50 and also to mount a Wireless microphone.

Oltre a ciò lo utilizzo come supporto per i registratori di piccole dimensioni in modo da evitare di includere rumori da maneggio/sfregamento durante le registrazioni al volo effettuate sfruttando i microfoni interni. In congiunzione con un treppiede di dimensioni mediopiccole consente di ottenere un kit da viaggio compatto, leggero e versatile.

Es un complemento excelente para mi trípode Sirui AM-284. Una vez se enrrosca, queda muy firme y le da esa altura extra que a veces necesito para este tipo de trípode. Incluso extendido hasta lo 32cm, sigue muy firme. Es ligero además. Mucha mejor solución que otras columnas centrales incluidas, de menor sección, en diferentes trípodes que tengo, similares a esta categoría de los Sirui AM, de fibra de carbono, aptos para viaje muy resistentes y ligeros.

Ce tube d’allonge est de bonne qualité. Il permet de se fixer à un trépied et de bénéficier d’une hauteur supplémentaire (30cm).C’est un accessoire pratique couplé à un trépied de voyage. Le tube est entièrement en carbon et est livré dans une petite house.
